OK...been searching for a good 20 minutes now. Between here and Google, I guess I'm just not finding the right keyword combination to locate the existing thread(s) about this fix. Anyone got a link?

All I can say is I hope good luck. You would have to chop off that hinge in the front and rework how he connects in both mode. If there is a way I am interested in seeing it

There's some sort of way to reverse or swap the hip joints so they don't stress the decorative plastic trim around them and are much easier to transform, apparantly how it was designed to work.
