Joyride's Powermaster

I have 2. Both have some chrome wear. I notice the plastic under the chrome is gray on one, green on the other. What's this variation about?

Well in Japan Joyride(aka Ranger) was released in different colors, like a blue/green color, but the limbs of the powermaster should be green as well. Or it could be from Aquastar which was a Japan only exclusive (they just released the powermaster engine) The only thing I can think of is someone took off the engine and swapped it with a US one.

I read about Ranger. The body & limbs of the PM are all the same color. Plus, I got these Joyrides in large "played with" lots from folks who were 99% unlikely to have a Japan import.
