To this day, I have never bought a TF, yet the collection still grows.

My aunt is trying to by me a bunch of Transformer toys for me, and she called me Saturday asking which one I wanted. I didn't care for the others she mentioned, but I requested Leader Class Brawl, and she's getting me that one. They couldn't find the first one (camoflauge-green) version, so I settled on the Deep Desert Brawl (he actually looks pretty neat).

Now taking commissions! PM me for more info!

Nope. They wouldn't have the first clue what I already have/what to get. I could tell them specifically, "I want this thing here," but I think they were all too glad to not have to do that any more after 1988.

That and they kinda cast a disparaging eye on the whole collecting thing, mostly due to sheer volume. This coming from my dad with his 12 foot x eleventy foot wall of vinyl, mind you..and my mom, who hasn't thrown anything away since 1973. And they wonder where I get it from.

Yep, for Christmas and birthdays and such. My mom will also keep an eye out for any specific figures I'm looking for, though inevitably I end up paying her back for any she picks up.

Noone outside of the realm of Transformers buys me anything. I'm to the point where anything that I want that's out, I've got. Anything else is too specialized.

I have bought most of my Transformers. My mom and Dad know I collect but would not have an idea what to get me. The only Transformers I have not bought were gifts from my wife.

My mom and wife buy me TFs all the time, but mainly for B-day and Xmas. Although, my wife will also get me TFs for V-day and our anniversary.
