Yes.
My dad paid half the tab when I bought Black Convoy
My mom foot the bill for Animated Bulkhead

There's others, but those two stick out as they were the most recent.

I think it's the "keeps me off drugs" mentality, but they also realize that I enjoy it and it's their fault for getting me into them in the first place.

Same here, except I'm 34. Year before last my Mum got me a Goodbye Convoy giftset. There was MUCH grinning like an idiot when I opened that present, I can tell you!

I doubt my dad knows I collect toys. I don't flaunt it and I don't think he would aprove. I just get money for christmas an bday's even though I tell him he dosen't have to do anything.

The more accurate question is "[i]DID[i]your parents buy you Transformers for you?"

Actually, I did get Hasbro Reissue Ultra Magnus a few years bag, and my mom swiped 5 Cybertron deluxes when Stop and Shop had them on sale for a ridiculously low price.

My parents haven't bought me a TF since the G1 days.
Nowadays, I have so many my mom has told me, "I wouldn't even know what to buy that you don't already have!"
My family doesn't do the "Here's what I want" thing because it takes too much of fun out both the giving and getting of the gift exchange.

Although last year with all the movie swag out, Moms did mange to get a TF fleece throw...

I got a "real-gear" Frenzy (or whatever they called him) the watch fellow as a joke.

I got a Snap-Dragon from BBTS from my brother for Christmas "you don't have any headmasters, or triple-changers" was his justification.

My folks know I'm into it (and are just fine). They never get me any directly (as I usually ask for an anywhere giftcard or a bump to my Paypal acct - then go shopping nuts!).

I had VERY few TFs (a TON of MOTU and G.I. Joe though) as a kid. I think the last one I got was Rodimus Prime (G1) some 20 something years ago for Christmas (I'm just shy of 30 now).

I definitely got the collecting bug from my Dad. Maybe I'll drop some hints around my birthday for a slice of the cost of a Predacon gift set.
