Only one I've heard that I like is Sunstorm. To saying nothing for them not combining, I don't want the Stunticons to be repaints of the Classics Autobots, because I don't want the same exact set of molds on both sides; that would completely idiotic. What, evil twins? Screw that. They would have to not just repaint but significantly retool any molds, or it would be extremely lame. I've seen customs (looks in Redline's direction) that show you can make really nice Stunticons from some of those figures, but it'd require more than just new paintjobs, and likely more re-tooling than Hasbro would want to do before they'd just as soon make new molds. And no, I don't think that episode in G1 where the Autobots disguised themselves as the Stunticons justifies them being straight repaints (nor would it make it any less lame). As to a straight up re-issue (or re-packaging) of the 1.0 figures... I wouldn't mind a chance to get some extras of a few, but I can't imagine they'd do it unless it was just a quick way to get something on the shelf as filler.
I would agree with you. I did a lot of remolding and such to make mine work right (save dragstrip, but I did redo his head)
Maybe in your mind. To me Dragstrip would be perfecty fine in any pseudo-F1 race car form. Just like Classic Megs is not a realistic pistol, Bumblebee is not a VW and has a jetski/trailer, Prime's a new model with a wind vane and not trailer, Jetfire isn't a valkyrie, etc....
Seriously if they made a Stunticon set like the one you made I would buy one....or three! It is awesome.
Did they do a Classics Thundercracker, Dirge, and Thrust? If not, they could use the same mold(s) as Starscream and Ramjet.
