Movie Deluxe Landmine!!!! Absolutely all around great figure.......finally opened mine and I love it!!

For those of you that don't already have it......GO OUT AND GET ONE!! It's a great looking figure in bot and alt mode with awesome articulation and his gun is the best.

His oversized hands withe the Freddy Krueger-like edges on them are something else.

For those of you that have landmine already what do you think? Also, please use this thread to post your best (and funniest) landmine pics. I've seen ones of him doing handstands etc.

Like I said, if you don't own one...I HIGHLY recommend it!!

I totally agree, it's one of the best deluxes of all time. Posability is off the charts, tons of detail for a $10 toy and it has a quirky transformation.

The fig is alright, but I honestly can't figure out where all the love's coming from.

I would love him if he had a non four-eyed head and held his weapon a little better...

Not a radical pose, but I think this guy is a lot of fun to pose!

I agree. He's a really dynamic figure - poseability is great for a $9.99 dude.

I can see how Landmine would appeal to some, but he was a distinct an powerful "meh." for me.

In terms of engineering, posability and alt-mode detailing... totally agreed. This is an amazingly well-made little figure.

Aesthetically, I'm not crazy about the buggy catcher's mask face, and the clamp hands (even though they do allow those handstands!)... also his upper arms are a bit... naked looking.

But those are minor issues, and obviously just reflect my antipathy for the Dreamworks "alien monster" motif for TFs. Just the same, he's got a great robot mode, with some nice chunks of vehicle, but nothing too kibbly, so he's not too far off from the traditional Transformer aesthetic. A head swap is easy enough to manage. :)

On behalf of those of us yet to even find him so we can buy him:

    Shut it!

(cries and runs into his room, slams the door)

    :p

Distinct and powerful is the antithesis of the non-word 'meh.'

Any human who rides in him gets a friendly pat on the butt. How many other Transformers can say they have that kind of customer service?!

LOL! I have three of them! One for home, one for my desk at work, and one MOSC! :D
BTW, I'm selling my third MOSC Landmine.

I just opened Landmine this past weekend and it's a good figure, but Im partial to Dropkick myself. I like the transformation, it's far more to my liking than Landmines.

It's okay, but I'm not too fond of the hands and head sculpt.

    It's no Classics Mirage.

Man, Classics Mirage is no Classics Mirage! People are always holding that one up as the epitome of posability, And it just plain isn't. The feet are broad and can't stay balanced in dynamic poses, the hands are just single-piece fists with holes, the head is sunken in so that the balljointed neck can't move freely, the thighs have no swivel, and the gun sucks. The gun sucking really has nothing to do with the posability, I just thought that needed to be said.

There are plenty of better figures than Classics Mirage.
