I don't know if this topic has already been discussed BUT I read on one of the Star Wars boards that when asked about plans for the TF's 25th anniv. Hasbro said that they could not reveal anything at this point. So.....
Is it too early to start speculating about what may be in store for us?
Judging by what they did with the 'Joes' regarding carded figures could we possibly see G1 'bots & 'cons' in original (but tweaked) packaging?
I'm thinking too that the absence of KO Sunstreaker & Wheeljack and the recent crackdown on other KO items could possibly mean that there are some surprises awaiting us. Either that or maybe they'll totally ignore the anniv. save for a fancy-schmancy 25th anniv. sticker on existing products.
Whaddya think??? |

Some have said that Universe is supposed to be the big 25th ann deal, but i hope not. And i agree as well that next years con will probably be one of the biggest ever. Quote: |

If you're reading this...a nice boxed set of UPSIZED G1 Constructicons (in scale w/ the G1 cars) would be stellar!! |

Similar packaging to the original ( G1) with a mixture of great new designs, some repaints, and even some combiners mixed into the assortments.
For example, would it be hard for Hasbro to take Classics Prime and release him with a new trailer and roller? How about a couple new limbs for the Superion and Bruticus sets from Energon to create a boxed sets. Of course, I would expect a lot of new molds as well. |
