Small issues regarding Movie toys and Scale

I have a bit of a problem... I love the TF movie line... But my only complaint comes to scale. For the most part, the toys I find myself really enjoying are the ones who are in a similar scale with each other. This means I can't find myself enjoying Starscream, Bonecrusher, Brawl (Deluxe), and Blackout due to their diminutive size when placed next to the Autobots.

I'm sorry, but was there a reason they discontinued the "Ultra" scale? If it was up to me, Bonecrusher would have been better off as a Voyager, Starscream as an Ultra, and hell, Blackout as a Supreme. He is supposed to be the biggest.

I'm not trying to complain here, I love the designs and transformations. But am I the only one who has this issue? Scale wasn't an issue for me before with the classic lines... But with the "realistic" look, I just want all my robots in the right size. What do you think?

It's all about cost, how many people would have bought Blackout at a Supreme price-point?

I guess that's legit... But imagine the possibilities. Miniguns in his arms, Both rotors being able to spin (And perhaps the tail rotor could be held rather than the main one). Electronics! Sound effects!Classic Transformation noise, and that signature "Pulse blast" sound effect from when he trashed the air base.

Oh man, now I want a Supreme Blackout even more.

TransFormers besides Alternators/Binaltechs have never been in scale and I doubt they ever will be.

If they where all to scale Optimus would need to be about the size of his MP mold, Megatron would need to be the size of Ultimate Bumblebee, Starscream would need to be bigger than his MP mold, Bonecrusher and Blackout would need to be Leader Class at least and lets not forget about Arcee, she would need to shrunk to about the size of a 3 inch Titanium.

Thats alot of work for Hasbro, and alot of expence for the end consumer.

You can always take your Autobot movie LOC's and make them battle deluxe Brawl.

Always wanted all my Autobots to be basics & deluxes and all the Cons to be Megas Ultras, and Supremes, and maybe one supreme base or jet for the Bots

Don't look at my stuff!! Which is

The scale bothered me too, which is why I ended up having zero interest in Ultimate BB, even though it was kind of a cool toy, it was just ridiculous in size (compared to even mp standards).

I'm still hoping someday we get a leader class Blackout, but probably not gonna happen.

Except for the alts/bts already mentioned, scale has never been a consideration in the toy lines of transformers. The more popular they think the figure might be, the more likely to get a larger and more expensive figure.

Word. But fans have never been satisfied with this answer, and I doubt they ever will be.

That's...a really good idea.

I need to go buy me some Legends now. For, uh, display purposes.

I found this interesting.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers_movie_toys

It gives the scale on all the charactors action figure sizes.

I personally agree that the size scale should matter when designing and making the toys. I don't care about the concerns of Hasbro. Look at the GI Joe line. Everything is pretty much perfectly to scale and they have always been successful.

It was already mentioned about Ultimate Bumblebee. Thats gotta be one of the worst ideas they have come up with yet. If they had made an Ultimate Blackout or Starscream I would have bought it. But there's no way I'm going to add an oversized, over-priced Bumblebee to my collection. No matter how cool the features might be. But, then again, I'm not a completest. I'm a realist.
