So I finally decided to change 74 Camaro BB to car mode but the hood won't stay closed. Now I know I broke the first one but got it replaced with this one and made sure to transform it right so not to break the inner workings. So I got to put it back adn the hood won't stay down.

How the heck do I get it to actually stay snapped together? Or did Isomehow manage to break this one as well?

Geez Wreckgar what are you doing to your toys? I fold the piece behind BB's head back, then I just hold all the front parts together and fold it up, then put it more tight after that. Nothing special.

well it's like it won't snap shut. There's nothing that "clicks" in place. I think it may be broken again...

Are you making sure that the headlights are in the correct car position, and the chest emblem is pushed back flush before you fold the rest up? Mine clicks.

Mine has that problem, too. It isn't broken, the pieces have to be lined up in just the right place for everything to click into place. Try pulling the hood up a little harder than you normally would, that always works with mine.

The cause is that on some of them, the trigger doesn't reset far enough, so the parts don't catch properly. On my first one, I resolved that by putting pressure on the windshield piece during transformation so as to pull it back farther and creating more clearance for the hood to be pulled back up. Worked like a charm.

okay, I finally got it but it only worked if I pulled the guns out from under the car. And Ithink the slightest wind would cause it to pop so it's getting left as is.

My bee's the same way, the front end is so sensitive. It wants to be a flipchanger

The head has absolutely nothing to do with it. The only thing that does is determine whether it sticks out at the bottom or not.

As I suggested, try pulling back on the windshield while you're resetting the hood. That should do it, otherwise, that trigger's really stuck.

    This happened to my '08 and '74 BB's. :(

I am forced to keep them in robot mode from now on.

How could that happen for the Concept Camaro Bumblebee? His chest isn't spring-loaded like that.

Mine does that every time. To get it to lock in, I have to push the button on his hood again while holding it all in place.

That's not possible, the problem cannot exist on CC BB.

My CC BB doesn't have that particular problem. He just wants to constantly re-enact the legless scenes from the movie.....
