Cheers for the help

It's probably your best bet. Unless someone here knows the specific vehicles (if any) they were based off (which I wouldn't be surprised if someone does). I'm done. Quote: |

Brawl looks like a simplified Abrams to me.
Swindle was a pretty generic military jeep in the show I think, the toy is rather different.
With the other 2 I can't even go as "detailed" as with Brawl and Swindle. A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy? Transformers collection list (text version) | Collection pictures (always outdated) | Want list & trade/sell list | Feedback | Cut & Paste Sci-Fi |

from sgcollect:
Blast Off Space Shuttle
Brawl Leopard 1 tank
Vortex Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk (or GKN Westland Super Sea Lynx Mk88A) helicopter
Onslaught Green flatbed truck w/cannon
(Vortex was depicted as a Sea Lynx helicopter in the cartoon and the comic. However, the toy isn't a Sea Lynx...)
the list is wrong, swindle is not a jeep, hes like some eastern bloc/european (german i think) model or something |

Army military all-terrain vehicle that was being researched in the '70s, and was abandoned when US Army got the Humvee. Swindle is like an SD version of it, sorta like G1 Bumblebee is SD VW Bug. I'll try to find those pics.
Here's what I've found: http://jalopnik.com/cars/jalopnik-fa...php?mail2=true
(second and third pic from the top)
EDIT: My mistake, it was an XR 311 prototype http://www.meisterburg.com/xr311.htm http://www.meisterburg.com/xr311/pages/xr311story.htm

only reason i know this- i have oversized bruticus, and swindle's name in korean is written as "kae nae dee jeep" (kennedy jeep), lol.
