Voyagers have been my experience, even back in Energon and Cybertron days. In fact, I seem to recall picking up a RiD X-Brawn from K-Mart for several dollars above MSRP way back in the day.
I haven't been to a K-Mart now in a year or two, since I was hunting for some Cybertron figure that I can't now remember, but now that Gouki's reminded me that they have Little Caesar's, I may just have to head on down there sometime. |

And yes, kmart has always been a few bucks more on toys but hey if you can't find them anywhere else then i guess it's worth it since gas is ridicolous these days! |

News Credits: 13 | The ONLY time I ever buy from K-Mart is if the item I'm buying is very rare and I only find it there. I have found MANY toy gems there over the years, and I'm glad their high prices ward off most collectors because then it make it easier for me to find stuff.
Example: Finding a Star Wars: Clone Wars Basic Durge figure. It was the only one I've ever seen to this day and I bought it. He stands triumphantly on my top desk shelf, showing my helpless ATOC Clone Trooper the meaning of pain.
>>>On a side note, I also got my Deluxe Clone Wars Durge from a Hasbro contest. Again, only time I've seen <that< deluxe figure and attained it (by winning it in the Hasbro contest).
In the past, I have also found many Beast Wars and Beast Machines figures at K-Mart that I never saw anywhere else.
I also get some sweet deals at K-Mart when it comes to clearance. I got a Toybiz Figure Factory Ghost Rider there for $1. He's on my top desk shelf as well, blazing off it's edge. Years back, I also scored a Beast Wars Transmetal 2 Cheetor for $4!
So yeah, K-mart is hit or miss. But, most of the toys I've EVER bought from K-Mart have been toys I could NEVER find anywhere else. So if I can find it at another store, then I just don't bother.
In your case, if this is the ONLY Ironhide you ever see in stores, then buying it may have been a good decision.
Either way, buying it online ($20.00) with shipping costs ($6.00) would have probably cost you around $26. WANTED: The Rooster Hat from Scribblenauts(Special Pre-Order item). *IF anyone's EB Games/Gamestops have leftover hats that no one picked up & can get me 2-(even if you must buy the game twice) then PM me ASAP! |
