Movie Jazz G1 repaint in classics lineup

Wanted everyones opinion for using the movie Jazz G1 repaint as a stand in with the classics...

I don't own any of the movie toys but was thinking of getting this one for the above reason...anyone else thinking of this...?

Everyone says the movie Jazz toy is a little on the small side...is he in good scale with the rest of the classics...and if you think any customizing could be done to make him fit in better...

The mold details on Jazz wouldn't really fit in with the general style of Classics.

In bot mode he's about the same height as Grimlock. Car mode is about as long and wide as Hot Rod or Mirage, but definitely taller and thicker. The overall look, even with the G1 paint job, wouldn't really fit in with Classics, though, if you ask me.

I'll post some comparison pics later this week. I got Jazz yesterday specifically to show with Classics. The solid white simplifies the movie detailing and the blue light-piped eyes are really sharp.

I'd say he fits in better than Botcon Springer, as well as Botcon Huffer, but not as well as Energon Downshift or Cybertron Blurr, all of which are also on my Classics shelf.

In car mode, maybe fits in. Robot mode? Not even close. I'm not getting it anyway, but thats my opinion on it.

Really, you don't think Springer and Huffer fit in? Is that because of their aesthetics, or because they're not close enough to the look of the original character? Just curious, because I actually think they fit in pretty darn well.

E. Downshift would fit if it weren't for his irritating "splitting powerlink pelvis" and his transparent Energon weapons.

On-topic, as much as I like the G1 Jazz repaint, I don't think it's a good fit for Classics. The scale and aesthetic are just too different. I too would be very interested in seeing some photos, though.... I hope to be proven wrong!

My decision rides on the pictures that are forthcoming. As for Springger and Huffer I agree with Springger but Huffer works for me, though he's as small as Bumblebee/Cliffjumper/Bugbite should be. I need to track down Blurr again.

for anyone planning on getting a E downshift, i suggest a superlink wheeljack if you can find one. it has a nice silver/grey plastic for limbs instead of the green.
