Help with Titanium Cheetor....

Howdy,

I recently bought Titanium Cheetor, and I have one question; is his head transformation suppose to be so tough?

Transforming him from robot to beast wasn't bad, although the head I had to slightly force into place in order to have the cheeta head in place. Now, when transforming back to robot mode, I can't get the robot head to swing out. Everytime I try to swing the beast head down to have the robot head come up, it feels as though the piece hits a snag and can't go any further. If I try to push, I can hear the plastic squeaking under the pressure and it feels as though the head will snap in half.

Anyone else run into this problem? Any way to resolve it? Am I making any sense? I'd rather not return it, as there were no more Cheetors.

Thanks

I had the same problem.

I ended up just getting out a small screwdriver, opening up his chest, and fixing him. He works fine and joints are still tight but I prefer to keep him in cheetah mode for now. I imageine if I switch ihm back - then back again - I will have to do the same thing.

I accidentally mangled the Beast neck on mine trying to get the transformation right. It seems to be a frequent complaint.

It's only a problem if you don't push his robot head far enough in when transforming, I've never had a problem with mine and it ranks among my favorite Titaniums.

You HAVE to push the robot head all the way back into the beast neck before you transform the toy, even though it doesn't say it on the instructions-- I ended up with the same problem once, but after I used a screwdriver and got the head out again and then did that, it never happened again.

Thanks for all the replies!

I was eventually able to slowly move his robot head with the edge of a pen as I rotated the beat head, allowing the robot head to begrudingly come out. After all that, I did figure out that I didn't press the head enough into the beast neck.

Whew! I bet there's a lot of kids who were all sour when they ran into this!
