I really don't get the point of that. That's using the horizontal shoulders transformation, that's pretty secure in the first place. If there was a way to secure the shoulders in the angled position, that'd be a different matter.

The flat shoulders also hinders articulation doesn't it?

The whole deal is that the truck front no longer flops around. You can adjust the angle by changing the alignment of the backpack.

And no, articulation is not hindered.

Leader Prime: His flip-out cannon can pop off. And then if you have the missile in the cannon and put his thumb up on his other hand, he can hold the cannon in that hand. Not an intended feature, but it works well on mine for some variety.

Bonecrusher: There are little tabs on the fronts of his shoulders that flip up about 30-40 degrees. Doesn't seem to do much, but some people might prefer it.

Brawl: HUGE - that if you push back in the two swing-out little tabs on his turret when he's in robot mode, they really help hold his floppy shoulders in place!
#2 - The backs of his lower legs tilt back and away from his legs a little. It's fiddly to move them back into place though.
#3 - that his big cannon pops in half and if you swing it around it looks like his 4 barrel arm cannon in the movie (already mentioned in this thread).

Barricade: The toes, as others have pointed out. Also the 'pull the head up more and slide the hood halves under' bit.

'08 Camaro BB: The flap behind his head doesn't seem to be in the instructions. Also, not secret but vital to a good transformation from car to robot is that the front doors + panels pull out more than they appear to - they will actually click when pulled out all the way. Also, do the instructions actually mention the sides of the car front moving upwards in robot mode? It's obvious, but I didn't see it actually in the instructions.

Starscream: Turn his effin head around in jet mode. :D

Never knew about that, it makes blackout just that much cooler. He actually has an automorph feature that works on him!

This is what I do. Though I still don't see why they couldn't but a hing on his head.

Personnally, I prefer the 'floppy' chest thing, and the angled look. But then again, it's nice to have the *option* to do it either way. Regardless of preference, it's just something that makes Ironhide even cooler.

And, seeing as I haven't seen it posted. On Jazz, if while changing him from car you bot mode, you turn the 'fake' wheels on his heels, his feet will swing out along with them. If you do the feet first, the wheels don't move. There's also a lil groove on the wheels and a tab on his leg and foot that will pop into place once they've been turned to the right angle.

Huh, I just noticed barricades head does indeed pull up...which would have no other use than for the hood to close...and it improves arm mobility in addition to looking better

On Voyager/Robovision Prime, there's a little driver guy behind the wheel of the truck. When you open the door, the dude disappears through the magic of springs and hidden spaces.

My brother spotted this a couple days after I got the figure, and when I opened the door, I thought the littler driver had fallen out and was frantically looking for it.

Can you post a pic for that?? I want to see how much you have to extend the head/neck and how are hood-halves positioned.

On Voyager Megs there's a panel on his back that locks his wings "up". Looks friggin' awesome.

I dont have anyway short of crappy cell phone pics, and I cant get it to focus well enough to tell whats going on. After you fold the head up, just grab it and pull it straight up, this kinda gives him a "neck" that is a space for the car halves to reclose

I just say BikerTrashWolf's review, and I saw that Leader Meg's cannon can slide inwards when they combine so that it's more in the center!!

sswweeetttt. Awesome, awesome thread, I don't know how I've missed it up till now. Some of these I knew about, some I didn't (now pulling brawl's cannon in half).
