One from the Transformers Collector's Club Store, and the other two from a local Walmart (thanks to Soundblaster1).
Now before everyone gets their panties in a bunch calling me the devil because I have three...I have good reason. One is for me at home, one is for me at work, and one is for me to bash and make movie-accurate.
But that's not the reason for this thread.
I bring you warning.
This figure is pure joy in toy-form. However, with great joy must come a little sadness. It is sad that I must report that the black paint used for the stripes and Autobot symbol (on his chest) comes off easier than an egg on a greased up frying pan.
Yes...over the course of one day's playtime...my work Bumblebee...which I must have transformed at least 25 times now, has no Autobot symbol...it fell off like it was ash. Also, his stripes are now scraped to all hell. Heck if you touch the stripes...something is coming off.
Now before everyone claims I was too rough with him...
I consider myself your average toy collector. I like my toys open, and readily available for transformation. But I do not consider myself a toy-rougher-upper.
Unfortunately...this seems to effect all three that I bought.
It doesn't discourage me from thinking this toy is awesome...I just want to warn those of you that are perfectionists...to be careful while playing...(once he's available) |

Will the Japanese version have a metallic finish? It might use better quality paint. |

I've only got these three dud ones, hahaha...but I love them anyway!
...But you got a nice lucky one! |

News Credits: 1 | I must have either a later version or a lucky one. 'cause I have been rubbing this sucker like a Classics rub symbol since I posted that and nothing, I even tried his toes since I thought they were the same paint. XBL GT: SPLITTLIP Quote:

I just went to it and rubbed, even scratched lightly, and it seems fine.
I've had mine for almost a week now and haven't seen anything come off. |
