IMO this is THE dumbest movie design toy yet... sucks more than that Starsceam, more than 74 BB. I havent seen any ranting on this figure like I did when Swindle released (I know Dreadwing has barely released but we've seen pics on the net for at least a week or 2.)...
With Swindle, people voiced their dislike of his head and legs and arm configuration/functionality/asthetics...
Well, to me Dreadwing has those same exact problems only to a higher degree. His head is a scope/lens thing that people hated in Swindle but is way more horrible than Swindle... Those suck-ass leg too... And oversized arms??? This guy looks like a weak wind will blow him down...
Im I the only one who feels Swindle didnt deserve the flak and dreadwing does.??? |

I'm with Megatroptimus on this one, I'm tired of the same old robot designs and love this new stuff. I also agree BB and SS are fantastic and I'm sure others will agree too. BB's actualy my Favorite TF. XBL GT: SPLITTLIP Quote:

But not so much Dreadwing, which is a shame imo. In the comic he looked awesome...but the toy just looks akward. His legs are short and skinny, his arms are long and thick, his waist is tiny and his head is the entire length of the nosecone and cockpit of the jet. He is an easy pass for me, which is dissappointing because I like unique, realistic transformer Jets. But they just seem hard to get right. |

Most folks have probably just gotten it out of their systems, or gotten used to the design.
I myself don't particularly like Dreadwing.... mostly because of his tiny, sideways-jointed legs. But he has enough neat things about him that he's still well worth paying ten bucks for. His jet mode is great, his drone head is unique, his chest design is cool-looking, and his thruster-hands are an innovative idea as well. Because of those things, I forgive the legs.
So I'll have no qualms about buying him. |
