I used to have a huge collection of Beast Era, RID, and Armada toys before we moved. Now I've just started collecting and have had to start from scratch.

I had a load of Action Force/GI Joe figures when I was younger, was REALLY proud of my Dreadnoughts and Renegades.
Have been tempted some times to go on E-Bay and try to get them all back. |

Join Date: Feb 2005 Posts: 1,789 Location: Austin, Texas Collection Count: Over 100 | About 11 years ago, I had managed to salvage a whole box full of G1 Transformers from my parents' attic when I moved in with my (now former) roommate. They were all fairly beaten up but I was convinced I could restore them so they could at least be displayable. There was a bit of everything in there in various conditions: the Dinobots, Shockwave, Prime, Megatron, Magnus, Aerialbots, Stunticons, Constructicons, etc. When I finally moved out and got my own place a few years later, I went through this brief phase where I thought I was too old to collect toys anymore so I THREW THEM ALL AWAY!
The single dumbest thing I've ever done...
On the bright side, looking back, there were probably only a few that were actually salvageable and I've since replaced them. |
