Lost collections

Anyone else ever had to give up their TF collection because of moving, GF, etc? I used to have a huge collection of Beast Era, RID, and Armada toys before we moved. Now I've just started collecting and have had to start from scratch.

I dare you click the picture. Go ahead, I dare you

When I was a kid I had most of the Microman and Diaclone stuff, of course I had no idea what they were, I've proceeded to kick myself repeatedly

I lost a bunch of the G1 toys I had when I was a kid. While I still have most of them, the ones I lost were Omega Supreme, Jetfire and Metroplex.

Will pay $$$ for: Godbomber Cannon, Japanese Sixbuilder #4 & Mattel Computer Warriors

I'd never lose my collection due to a girlfriend.

Childhood stuff that got lost over the years, that's a different story.

yeah, i dont have to worry about losing the collection tomy fiance, cuz she understands it...shes a collector too...just not as insane as i am....if i were to ever trim my collection (which is mighty big) it'd start with all the crappy figures no one wants, and keeping the really great ones....that would suck....but hopefully ill never have to worry about that....

I've only ever lost one collection, and for the life of me I cannot remember what happened to it??

I had a load of Action Force/GI Joe figures when I was younger, was REALLY proud of my Dreadnoughts and Renegades.

Have been tempted some times to go on E-Bay and try to get them all back.

About 11 years ago, I had managed to salvage a whole box full of G1 Transformers from my parents' attic when I moved in with my (now former) roommate. They were all fairly beaten up but I was convinced I could restore them so they could at least be displayable. There was a bit of everything in there in various conditions: the Dinobots, Shockwave, Prime, Megatron, Magnus, Aerialbots, Stunticons, Constructicons, etc. When I finally moved out and got my own place a few years later, I went through this brief phase where I thought I was too old to collect toys anymore so I THREW THEM ALL AWAY!

The single dumbest thing I've ever done...

On the bright side, looking back, there were probably only a few that were actually salvageable and I've since replaced them.
