I might have to stay away from the Dinobots then. They weren't really my favorite anyhow but when I saw the 5-pack all together for less than $200 it sure is tempting to add to the collection.
But I'd rather collect the ones I really want and then add the others later.

The molds for Wheeljack (broken), Sunstreaker (lost), all 5 Dinobots(lost), and the Constructicons(lost) are gone.

Is the KO of the Constructicon's of high-quality? I'd like to get the complete set and what was the proper color? I've noticed the KO version comes in several colors and I want the correct set.

You have the Zhong Jin ones, which I believe are of good quality, but I don't have them to know for sure. But careful not to get the KidiToys ones which are terrible and they were also released in G1 box reproduction. You should check all info in these links:

Okay thank you for the warning. I'd rather buy from an honest KO than a not so honest original! :D

So even for a brand new MIB original 1980's Sunstreaker, you think $200 is too high?
I've seen some go higher than that!
When is it worth buying an original versus a near identical knock-off when the KO can be had for $30?

When an official reissue happen :)  . But... will it ever happen? We never know, although I wouldn't say it's impossible. Thus, I bought the Zhong Jin KO, and I couldn't be happier with it :)  . I think it's only worth it to pay so much for that original figure if it matters to you that it is original. Because quality wise I don't see why would you complain about the Zhong Jin KO.

If this figure gets officially reissued I'll gladly buy also the official reissue. And if we sum the amounts paid I still paid less than buying the vintage one: $30 + $25 (it would probably be the price of an Encore Jazz) < $200 :)  .

Like RoboticPlanet said, if it's a good price, it should already been bought.
And it's NOT brand new, the accessories has been removed, the stickers has been applied.
Good price BINs usually don't last more than 50 views. The insane good BINs never last more than 5 views.

Well, if you see a reissue Slag that's actually called Slag it's either old or a knockoff. Hasbro has been castrated and so they now label Slag as Snarl. This is stupid for several reasons, one of which should be really obvious and turns into a Stegosaurus.

200 is not a bad price for a MIB Sunstreaker, mine cost more (this before the ko came out)

Well, with Sunny a KO is really the only way to get him new for an affordable price, until and unless some rich fan gets molds reverse-engineered for HasTak or HasTak go after the counterfeiters and seize their molds.

got to say we've noticed since the KO came out here in UK the price for G1 Sunstreaker isnt too bad at all anymore, seen them going for £45 loose complete and £125 mib complete.

Are there any galleries out there of high-quality knockoffs compared side by side to originals? I'd like to see sideswipe, mirage and sunstreaker... I'm tempted to pick up those KO's, if the quality is good enough.
