KO or official? I kinda like this AFA Huffer lmao! You get the best of both worlds. Sure it's sealed but you can roll him too

Just joking . BTW, I have some of those high quality G1 KOs and I think the term "unauthorized reissue" is more correct since they're not cheap KOs, they're very good reissues, though unauthorized. And sometimes better than the official reissues .
Apologies, for being late to the party, but between last nite and today went through all 65 pages.

Doesn't the glue dying on Huffer negate it's AFA status, or are they only really grading the "untouched toy?"

I can totally understand peoples frustration to hate on these new bootlegs. I seriously freaked out on the sheer amout that have been made. I used to feel safe dealing in Shockwaves, Dinobots, Springers, Wheeljacks, Sunstreakers, etc.. as they were not and probably were never going to be reissued, but now that game has changed. It got me thinking....what is the official label on the UK Classic stuff? First official reissues or authorized bootlegs, or what?

What is the deal on the Encore Omega reissue? Has/tak has the Toy Box molds?

Slightly off topic, I know, but what is service like from Chimungmung?

I've been after a red Mirage, and it isn't very likely of finding an affordable Diaclone.

I know people who only collect authentic G1, some others mix G1 and reissue, and I do both and those rare occasions of Dino cassettes, black OP, I'll get bootleg. Any positve response would be great!

Regarding the Huffer, I surmise that it wasn't damaged before being graded. And yes, the fact that the seal is broken definately affects the value, as you can see that item still hasn't sold. Besides, AFA grades loose toys too.

I don't know what you mean about UK Classic.

From my experience, Chimungmung has great service, packs well, has fast shipping with tracking.

I have the Red Mirage with Gold (KO). The red and gold looks good and the overall quality is also good. But, his eyes are unpainted so the top half of his face is red.

The Red Mirage with Silver (KO) has painted blue eyes. Chimungmung doesn't have that one, though you could email them to see if they can get it.

I picked up a MISB HA Barricade from amazon.com for $50...now I'm starting to wonder if it is a KO.

Edit: It's the real hasbro version!!!

The Frumble Mold (Microcassette Robo Micross)
If its got silver chrome on its Chest and Plastic shoulders, elbows, and feet, its probably Real. Especially if the Date stamp, Copyright logo, and Co.LTD on either side of their lower back is present.
If its got Silver Chrome on its Chest and Die-Cast shoulders, Elbows, and Feet, Chances are its a phony.
The Frumbles with Die-Cast parts should have Gold Chrome on their chest, The Silver Chrome chest didn't appear on Frenzy until the switch to plastic parts. Just noticed this on the Wiki after comparing my New Bogus Frenzy to my Older Real frenzy.
That is a Tasty Burger!

Sorry for offending you. I do enjoy your videos and do use them as a resource to see whether the high quality KOs are worth buying.

Yeah, I'm late to the party, but I'd appreciate it IF you disclosed that you're reviewing Ko figures G1 Reviewer. Your videos are getting a lot of views and someone who isn't well informed might be discouraged from our beloved hobby because they are left with the impression that your reviews are based on authentic G1 figures.

Which isn't the case and I can tell right off the bat they aren't real. If you can apply the decal sheets on a figure that is 28 years old, you have a KO.

I appreciate your attempts at educating the community but it's a HUGE disservice to everyone. Read some of your video comments, you're really confusing and misleading people with every KO video review you post.

I hope you take action and do something. We will still enjoy your videos but just be honest.

Thank you

It looks legit upon first inspection. However, I am not familiar with why the copyright info on the back is blacked out! I will research some and edit this post. I also didn't look at the other auctions yet.

EDIT: This seller has more than one of these up, and both have the black box. I cannot find any other example of this black box, either on a KO G1 Prime or Legit (US regular, or Pepsi). I'd want to know what that black box is about before considering this to be 100% legit.

PS: I have no opinion on the Octane or Springer, other than I haven't seen a high-quality KO of them before.

No one 100% knows what the Optimus is. It's possibly a release for Malaysia/Thailand that Takara did, so they blacked out the Hasbro part of the Copyright. Hasbro did something similar for their Chinese releases, blacking out the Takara part.

But it's definitely not a 1990's reissue or 2005+ knockoff if that's what you're thinking.
