Hello, I'm new to collecting Masterpiece Transformers. I was looking at a MP-39 Sunstreaker and MP-36 Megatron at robotoybase.com. It says they are Masterpieces but also says "reruns". The prices are $189 and $94. I emailed them and they gave a very brief message saying yes. The site seems legit but I'm not sure if I'm buying the Masterpice version or a ko or a reject. Thanks.

Well if you wanted an MP-36, this is a better price :)
    Mp36

It isn't a super good deal on a Sunstreaker, and if you want to wait for the re-reissue, you could get one from a very reputable seller like BBTS by this spring. Can't say I have ever heard of robotoybase

I don't think he's a scammer, I'm just not knowledgeable in the terms and haven't seen any other site listed as "rerun".

It's $35 off the price if I buy a new Sunstreaker. I think thats a pretty good deal. I probably will go with BBTS. But I wanted the Megatron and Road Rage figures as well. I want a new Megatron.

Hey, so I just got a HFTD Human Alliance Bumblebee for a relatively low price and I was wondering, are there any clear indicators a HA BBB figure is a knockoff? Anything I should look out for? (Such as the ultra-loose joints on KO HA Jazz).

Got a couple of questions - please help if you can!

    1. Recently picked up a G1 Laserbeak as part of a lot on an auction site. There is no manufacturer stamp under either wing (or feet). Does that make it a re-issue? A knock-off?

    2. Also picked up a MP Soundwave from the same lot. He has yellow eyes. Therefore, I'm assuming it is the Hasbro version. Was there ever a KO made with yellow eyes? Is there a mfg stamp anywhere on him?

    Please help! Thanks!

    Hey,
Anyone know if Movie The Best Soundwave has been KO'd? And is there a way to tell?

I ordered a KO Transformer Terrorcons Abominus. There is a delay in shipping and it is coming from China.

    Hey fellow members,
I am looking at listings for a brand new G1 Reissue Menasor Set on Ebay. Though, every single one says from China. The majority says it's a top rated seller. Could any of these be real? Or are they all KOs?

My experience says there are no "brand new" combiner giftsets and almost certainly anything branded such is a KO especially if delivering from China.

A tell-tale sign is to look at the smaller cars in the giftset box for rub symbols. KO usually have these as a separate sticker that you need to apply yourself, while the genuine set will have them already applied.

Thanks for throwing his up Junkers...some very useful information to know. I love KO figures and have a number of them in my collection but when I'm looking for legit stuff its nice to have the knowledge to distinguish between them.
