Hey guys! Does individual packed Constructicons were made or just the giftsets?

A friend came across a full set of blisters and we just want to be sure :)

I was wondering if anyone with the high quality KO Constructicons could tell me what exactly the copyright stamp on the toys says. Is it different for the KO giftset and the KO individually packed card versions ?

I've looked through the various threads here about the high quality KO Constructicons and there seems to be no mention of the stampings.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you guys seen the new pics of the KO MP10? It has way more paint apps than the original so its easy to spot.

Anyone know if KO Cosmos can be fixed? I'm talking about the backwards arms issue - I'd want to fix that or not bother getting him at all. Yeah, I realize loose Cosmoses are out there, but I'd prefer a new toy without the requisite scuffing and age.

I can't find any info on how to fix the arms, so I can only assume few have tried. Anyone have a Cosmos handy to take apart? I can't tell from the images or videos too well, but pins look to be involved...

I have always used the seller 800tfpro on ioffer. I have bought quite a few over the years so here is my take:

    Mirage - pretty good quality.
Wheeljack- good quality except the leg flap falls forward.
Sunstreaker - good quality but came without the factory applied stickers. Shoulder missile was tight and broke inside the shoulder.
Shockwave - electronics don't work and plastic is brittle. broke and cracked just by transformation.
Defensor - Blades' rotors fell out, Groove's front assembly broke off, Hotspot hoses don't fit.
Superion- Slingshot rear fins are backwards, Silverbolt wing broke when folding back and doesn't stand well but the original didn't either.
Menasor- Good quality but doesn't hold together very well in gestalt mode.
Devastator- Not bad but LongHaul chrome body hinge broke when folding him down for robot mode. Bought the Takara Anime reissue and that was worse than the KO.
Red Face Slag- Freakin' great toy.
Regular Swoop from years ago - Pure trash. Nothing worthy on it.
Anime gold and blue Swoop - Flawless toy. The best KO I have bought.

^Thanks for the list. Here's my contribution (keep in mind I bought these several years ago):

    1. Optimus Prime: Red paint on cab tends to chip, factory applied stickers tend to come off. One leg doesn't seem to want to stand flush in robot mode, and arms tend not to want to stay secure in truck mode. Trailer seems ok, but repair bay crane joints are a bit loose and there's no spring mechanism to launch Roller.

    2. Wheeljack: Floppy leg flaps (although I don't have an authentic Wheeljack to compare this to). Self-applied stickers tend not to stick very well; perhaps Reprolabels would be better. Metal pin holding feet in robot mode came out, but I put it back in.

    3. Shockwave: Plastic seems solid, but arms are floppy in gun mode and the barrel just weighs them down even more. The barrel also doesn't fit snugly all the way around the hands. Rubber tube will dry-rot just like the original. In robot mode, one leg doesn't seem to want to stay secure, and bot will constantly fall over because of this. I never tried the electronics so I have no idea if they work or not. The good thing is that he comes with a sticker sheet with tons of Decepticon symbols of all sizes.

    4. Insecticons: Kickback and Bombshell seem ok. One of Shrapnel's legs are loose in bot mode, and like Shockwave above, will cause the bot to fall over when standing. I didn't bother to apply the stickers so I don't know if they're good or not (probably not if Wheeljack's are any indication).

I originally bought these when I first got back into collecting once the Bay movies came out, but have since regretted it, as I had been unaware that most of the KOs have been reissued legitimately. As for the ones that haven't because of mold loss (i.e. Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, Mirage, Shockwave, the Dinobots), it's debatable whether to own a brand-new knockoff of a bot that will never be reissued again for a relatively cheap price, or try to buy a 1984 original for a large amount of money and have it be played with or handled by others for 30 years (unless it's MISB, which would be even more ridiculously priced).

I see a gold/red Swoop and a silver/blue Swoop, but not a gold/blue Swoop. Is he not selling it?

I seem to recall that the Diaclone Blue chest / Gold chrome was a limited run. I bought that from KOToys when they were around. It was 70 bucks and worth every penny.

I see that the seller miaolian28 on Ioffer has it for 78.00. The weapons and beak are gold, the wings are chrome.

EDIT: Thanks to pennybk226. Deathsaurus have no KO version, there is only Brave set different colors.

I was just curious what the quality is like for anyone who had bought it.

There used to be an active thread in the eBay forum for spotting scams like this, it's just not used anymore.

Have you contacted the seller? It's possible, though I'm always skeptical, the seller doesn't know.

No I haven't. Considering his description saying it's not a KO, well that would mean he knows how to look at KOs. Of course the missing instructions/card is an additional red flag. I'm also skeptical.
