Also, I had the seller throw in two more TFs... Scattershot and Hubcap. I have photos of their marks below:
Please tell me which are fakes and which are real. If anyone has a photo of the OP mark and is willing to post, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

For someone to get a KO Prime and match it with a non KO cab ... not very likely. Check their eBay feedback. If they sell lots of Primes, it's possible. |

If they sell lots of Primes, it's possible. | Yeah, I think it would be highly unlikely to combine a KO cab with an authentic trailer. I just freaked out after reading someone's ebay buying guide to transformers. It said that the mark on the cab should be on the inside of one of his legs. Another guide said that KOs sometimes don't have any manufacture marks on them at all, and since my cab has no marks (except for the number 4 on the back of Prime's head0, I got a little suspicious. However, the Prime I have seems played with gently, so I can't tell if it's a gently played with KO or an original.
As for the guy's ebay rep, I was his first customer. He said in his ad the following: "You are bidding on a vintage G1 Transformer Optimus Prime Cab and Trailer. This is a toy I played with as a kid and it was in my parent’s attic for 22 years. He is fully intact and transformable. He appears to be missing all additional accessories (gun, sword, missile, cart, etc.). Some of the stickers are worn or missing. Some of the joints are loose, but is still easily transformable." |

This one has a heavilly reduced gray border above the trailer, it has the chest stripe, and it looks like they may have gotten rid of the factory flap crease. Bleh.
Edit-- Also trailer now has "Made in Japan" instead of "Made in France" http://cgi.ebay.com/Transformers-G1-...QQcmdZViewItem The Allspark and TF Pulp present... NEW ISSUES ADDED EVERY COUPLE WEEKS!!

Any ETA on Slag and Sludge? I remember getting an email back in the spring from a guy in China saying Mirage would be shipped in April/ Late May. I'm guessing some of these guys might not be done until late next year. |

I really think there are multiple groups working these now, it's not just the MiF mold anymore. I'd like to get my hands on one of these and take a look at prime's wheel pegs and such.
Either way, there's still some differences left ... starting with the registered trademark sign over the "S" in "Formers" ... that's way too high.
Also, what gives with that prime? The windows are absolutely clear. I could swear that my original has a yellow tint to it. Quote:

I'm guessing this is done to gauge a fair MSRP considering these guys have no idea what the public is willing to pay vs under charging vs over charging ... etc.
Wheeljack and Sunstreaker looked very rough from the images out there (From Spirit-Of-Cybertron). There are 2 dinobots closer to completion than those. |
