Which G1 box artists are known by name today? Richard Marcej did Predacons Razorclaw, Tantrum and Divebomb, Powermasters Optimus Prime and Doubledealer, and Targetmasters Landfill, Scoop and Spinister.
Hidetsugu Yoshioka (who also did the Binaltech character card artwork and the Japanese G2 toys pack-in manga) did Crossblades, Thunderwing and Victory Leo (according to an old interview from a Japanese magazine) as well as, according to Snakas from Autobase Aichi, Victory Saber, all (!) 1990 Japanese TF box artwor (excluding Rocket Base), more unspecified box artwork for 1991 and the box artwork for all the 1992 combiners' boxes.
Are there any onther G1 box artists known by name and their contributions?
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

I especially loved the art on hoist, smokescreen, tracks, mirage, and the japanesse 16 megatron. I also noticed awesome artwork made a bad toy a little cooler kinda like when Don draw's a battlecharger or throttlebot. | |
