Does anybody remember those Legion/EZ based Takara region/city specific Primes that we saw a few years ago? Did those ever get made into toys?

 

The only 'Town Commander' with a toy was Safety Prime.

 

Whoa, why the hell didn't they make toys of these? Hiroshima Prime was essentially Diaclone yellow Trailbreaker, Mito Prime could easily have subbed as Ruckus, Itami Prime as Bitstream, Ikebukuro Prime could easily be Sideburn, or a plethora of other blue cars, and Dimicron would have probably been a good Thunderclash.


Man, I didn't realize how pumped I'd be for more of those Classics Legion class figs.

 

And the only one I could find on ebay is asking $150 for it.  

 

I suppose one could buy the Legends class toys that the Primes were based on and repaint them, although for bots like Yokohama Prime who has a dragon sitting on his head, it wouldn't be 100% accurate  

 

I would hope they are simple repaints, I don't need bizarre remolding. And I have a rule: I do not head to toe repaint figures. Details or a certain part? Yep. Head to toe repaint? Nope.
