if so is it sold in targets in maryland (washington dc area of maryland united states)? if so would anyone know the serial number because i am going to call my local target and ask if they have him.

Look in the Sightings section.

 

Targets in this area clearanced the RID Deployers some months ago. Target clearances tend to be nationwide, so I don't think it's likely your local Target will still have him. The number you should ask about when you call is 087-06-3634, that will tell you if they still carry them.

That's the DPCI number (DePartment Class Item) for the RID Deployers. The person at customer service will know what that means. Try to give them the UPC code or some other number and they'll probably not know what to do. If they have any, you may as well just ask if any of them are called Overload. Somebody will likely have to make a visual inspection anyway.

It's pretty reliable, so you should be able to check which nearby Targets even have any of the shelf before you start calling around.

Hercules, here is the link to the latest sightings in our area. We're always glad to have new people over in the thread and everyone there is very helpful. Edit: I looked up the figures and I just saw them about 3-4 weeks back at a Target. I believe it was either the Glen Burnie one near the TRU on Ritchie Hwy. I'll keep an eye out in my trips though.

 

Ours were clearanced out. Got my Overload for $14. Not too bad at that price.
