Now hear me out guys I think I've figured out the thrid part of the Prime Wars Trilogy. They are going to bring back action master characters but they are going to give them back the power to transform. However they will still have the vehicles and weapons that they had when they were action masters and that is the gimmick for the line. All of the weapons of vehicles are interchangeable with the other figures so the more you have the more play-ability each toy gains. They could call it action reforming. This is kind of a half joke so don't take it to seriously.
Well I've already repainted Hardhead as Gutcruncher. Megatron, Soundwave and Blaster were all Actionmasters so they have started.
Thank you for that line, I have now read so many half baked, or flat out stupid ideas of what the next line will be/MUST BE COS OF MY FACTS!!! that I was starting to get quite depressed with the state of the board. Not sure actionmasters have a big enough nostalgia factor though, I was thinking it might be micro masters for a while, with bases but TR kinda covers that quite well too. Given TR is kinda mash up of head power and target masters (maybe micro too) maybe the next line will be too, like pretenders with actionmasters, now the shells all have alt or weapons modes and the inner robot transformers and the bigger size classes interact in more ways. Who knows, not me.
How can they be ActionMasters if they transform? Aren't they just MicroMasters with Vehicles at that point?
I do not get people saying Micromasters. We've BEEN getting Micromasters nonstop for years and years already. They are called Legends class now, previously Cyberverse. What would be different? Worse articulation to make them more authentic?
Lets be completely honest the third part will bot be actionmasters though i can see pretenders being more likly
I could see the Action Master characters appearing more (e.g. the rumored Krok repaint of Skullcruncher), but I don't think there are enough characters to fill a line (even if you count Jazz, Blaster, Megatron, etc).
i want part 3 to be beasts with cw/tr gimmicks, and possibly armor part legends.....maybe organic armor parts for pretenders....not one giant shell....
Actually they would need to be smaller to be authentic. And come in multi-packs. Really your initial point is correct though, we have been getting them for a while in the form of Minicons. I also agree though that the titan masters themselves cyrrently fit this niche close enough that we won't see micromasters or minicons.
My hope for Micromasters is: Smaller bots than Legends (think Minimus Ambus to Titanmaster sized, roughly 1 inch or 2.5 cm tall) Transform with individual vehicle modes Integrates with larger bots within the torso Titanmaster play style is retained through TR compatible holes on the feet and single packs that include a transforming vehicle that can be used with leader/titan bases
