Just wanted to say now that Combiner Wars is winding down, and Titan Returns is hitting retail, it's a good time to be a Transformers fan. We've gotten so many updated G1 figs now it's almost insane to think about. The play patterns are fun, the colors on the new Titan Master figs are so diverse, good times. Enjoy it folks. Hats off to Hasbro and Takara. This 36 year old fan is very happy.

That thread title: Expected cynical sarcasm, got a genuine sentiment. Cool!

I hope I can get some of TR on sale. The Canadian retail prices are too much for my blood. But I WANT them. :I

I'm sorry, only Hasbro hate is allowed here.

But seriously, I completely agree. Combiner Wars was awesome, and TR is shaping up to be amazing! I'm really impressed with how they seem to be finding the happy medium between cost savings and still putting out quality figures! So count this as two very happy 36 year old fans!

I couldn't agree more, I LOVE these current lines. I thought they were getting better starting with Prime but this is just ten times that.

People can complain about making guys like Ironhide & Prime combiners or Galvatron and Alpha Trion headmasters. But they are just hitting it out of the park with these spectacular figures.

The play pattern is so fun and universal plus they are finally getting around to characters we never thought they'd do! It really helps with my goals for my CHUG collection. Plus giving us a better versions of guys like Blurr, Hot Rod, & Galvatron!

I also just want to mention how much fun I have with the current Robots in Disguise Warrior figures. They got better with each wave and I'm excited to get my hands on guys like Starscream, Bisk, Windblade, & Ratchet.

    Poor wallet.

Yup, a pleased Hasbro fan here as well. I bought more figures from TR wave 1 than any other first wave of a new line. I've run out of display space. Good problem to have, I suppose. ☺️

Gonna add to this train. This whole Prime Wars trilogy has been pretty great, and I'm excited to see what the third part will be! (Fingers crossed for Beastformers!)

Indeed! *in just over 24 hours you can add me to the "Happy 36 year old fan" club as well :)

Passed on a lot of the CW character repetition, since I felt my previous CHUGs still held their own [all those Autobot cars, voyager Optimus, etc]. And for me, non-combiners from the G1 toon stayed as such.
Totally thought I'd be passing on just as much TR stuff...Lo and behold my August haul thus far:

ToysRUs Canada currently has 30% off all Transformers products (until Thursday I think), at least in Ontario. I've seen everything except the leaders.

I agree with the thread starter completely. This is the happiest and most satisfied I've been with Hasbro's output literally since the 1980s. And I say that as someone who has greatly enjoyed a LOT between then and now. But this is the high point for me.

I have to agree with the OP's sentiment. This is what I've been waiting decades for. Hopefully it isn't too popular and I can get everything I want.

Thanks to Hasbro for finally taking what it may have considered a risk.

Sorry. For a second, I forgot that Geewun was the only part of the franchise it's acceptable to be a fan of.

It's sad that you think the last couple lines are only for G1 fans. Titans Return is more beyond G1 than your own signature. But sure, go ahead and be a victim. Poor you.
