I'm usually able to get a combiner once or twice a year. Though it took a few years for me to get Hercules my first combiner, and now that I have the CW stunticons I'm deciding on my next combiner to get (list is currently G2 Superion, UW Computron, TFC Poseidon & Hades, UT Ordin, MMC Feral Rex) but as for Bruticus, I'm debating on which would be better, the UW or getting the ROTF with the Fansproject munitioner and explorer. What I'd like to know is whoever has experience with both would say which is the easiest pose to/has the most creativity with pose-ability and fits best with the listed combiners. Though, I may not be able to get most of said combiners I'm still quite curious

For the ROTF Bruticus, with Add Ons of Fansproject Munitioner & Explorer, even though the Bruticus seems smaller scale but i like the proportionate scale in terms of the arms, legs, body etc.

I'd say either CW/UW or the Warbotron ko's

I'd go with the superior version when comparing to HasTak's previous attempts.

Look at the Hasbro Combiner Wars and Takara Unite Warriors Bruticus, pick from one of those two, forget the ROTF thing that needs so much outside help to even feel like Bruticus, get one of the ones based around G1 that is off the bat Bruticus. I bought the ROTF (Energon?) Superion hoping to get a decent feel from it...nope, returned it. The add ons for it look good in pics, but the figures themselves did zero for me in hand... It depends on what you are looking for, if you don't care about a G1 look, then doesn't matter which you pic, but if you want a G1 vibe without a bunch of add ons and character / mold replacements...go CW/UW. The limb modes on the ROTF Superion looked like ass to me, and from what I recall, so do the ones for Bruticus. IMO the CW/UW are far superior.

Hasbro for toy inspired design minus Shuttle Off substituted for Jet Off.

The toon inspired Takara version with toon deco and a Shuttle limb.

Or a third option is buy the Hasbro version minus Jet Blast Off and wait and see if Hasbro releases their own Takara Blast Off like they did with Groove.

UW wins this for me in a landslide.

The RoTF set with Fansproject's upgrades is nice...but you're getting Swindle and Blastoff with three other decent toys that are in no way Brawl, Onslaught and Vortex outside of alt mode and color scheme. There's no denying who the UW toys are supposed to be.

Plus the combined mode is nice with the upgrades but even with its drawbacks, UW look evokes Bruticus so much better.

All IMO of course. I have both and like both but if I need to sell one of them, it's not even s contest that I'd keep UW Bruticus.

In Bruticus mode, for me personally, it's a toss up. My UW is a floppy mess and the FP/SF/United Bruticus is a lego former but looks ok.

Rest of the modes for UW are much better and sized much better, though I still love the FP Blastoff and Swindle. Those have a special place in my heart. Here's some crappy comparison pics with Reprolabels.

ROTF Bruticus with the Fansproject upgrades I liked intially, but the only mode that looks good is combined mode, he's rather small, and the most expensive of the options. Try the Machine Boy KOs, or if you want to stay official, UW Bruticus.

Yea, after that comparison picture set looks like UW wins, but I do love the rifle, shotguns, and big effin knife that comes with munitioner, it just adds more.....brutality to bruticus. So my ideal bruticus would have to be the UW with the Fansproject bruticus weapons and movable back mounted turrets.....not sure if those would easily fit UW bruti though

Well only the shotguns have a 5mm compatible peg so I gave one to UW Bruticus. The giant (awesome) sniper rifle and knife are held by a peg in the hand of Colossus so UW Bruticus can't really hold them firmly or at all.

I have both. I prefer UW. Easily. FP Bruticus was good at the time it came out, but now it's just outclassed, outdated, has too much partsforming and the non 3P individual bots don't even look like the characters (save Vortex if you squint)

Although, I did use the FP weapons for my UW Bruticus.

yeah, the sniper rifle and the knife have the below type handles (not my pic)

So UW can sorta hold them via gravity, but not firmly.

He can hold the shotguns as Bountyan shows.

Wish FP would make PE compatible colossus weapons and give us the colossus feet for CW, just for the rockets in the feet xD
