Minibots in the original minibot size. Or put them in scout, just as long they don't get a deluxe toy size
why's Supreme class not in there? Anyway I voted Ultras just because I do feel it was nice to have somethng bigger thanVoyager but not by much. To be fair we almost never get boats in any size class realistically. The UT was almost a rarity in how many aquatic vehicles we had though I'll admit between the Sea team, Deepdive in the Giant team, and Shortround we did get get the most within the Scout sized assortment. But in general nautical themes are among the more ignored.
I want Human Alliance figures back. and not just for Movie toys either, i wanna see that shit expand into Generations.
I went with Scout class. They were pretty economical (about $6-7US) and most of the older ones had some heft to them compared to today's Legends. Also some of my favorite figures were Scouts too (RTS Windcharger, HFTD Hubcap, and Energon Skyblast).
All 3 are sorely missed at this point, but I've never loved the "Voyagers" that are halfway between Megas and Ultras. I liked the Kenner scale a lot, I think it was basically perfect. Basic-Deluxe-Mega-Ultra-Super-Supreme. $5-$10-$15-$20-$30-$40. No stupid names or redundancy. I miss true Megas the most, they were often the perfect mix for me, though I have to admit the Ultras had some show-stoppers. The Basics were twice the toy for $5 that you get today from "Legends" at $10.
Of the ones listed, Scout for sure. I liked so many of the simple, compact little scout toys from the Energon, Cybertron and Movie lines (especially Cybertron). It's just such a charming size; just big enough to have room for, like, one unique transformation trick, and just big enough to have a bit of solid build quality (pins and hinges and whatnot), but not so big that it starts falling victim to whatever gimmick is present in its line. I do enjoy the current Legends figures for the same reasons, and many manage some neat transformation tricks, but they do lack that extra smidge of build quality that the scouts had. But count me in for wanting something along the lines of a Human Alliance/Binaltech hybrid. That would be excellent as well.
I miss when we had both Legends (Legion sized) and Scouts. Those times from Cybertron to HFTD were great.
If we still had Mega the OG Headmasters might have been released in that class so Hasbro could have its triplechanging voyagers.
Mega. It was good to have an in-betweener, and if it had existed at the time it might have saved the Airachnid figure... Scouts, however, are a close second for me. For all the reasons listed above.
