Hi i have been asking myself after the last mp that while there has been acurate molds to animation like the datsuns and lambo there others like optimus an wheeljack who right now are different to their toons counterparts and i am a little suspicios that a new mp.convoy completely acurrate to the toon model is coming mayby not with the full trailer but just the cab around the size and price of ironhide or gorilla convoy to doesnt upset so.much buyers of the reissue this happen a lot bandai recently restock vegeta and trunks and day after that they announced new molds for both

 

If Red Alert MP-14+ sells well, you might see other MP+ repaints released. Nothing else has been announced yet as far as I know.

The legs in truck mode are huge. Pretty ugly.

I dunno. If they keep selling, I think they're pretty happy to keep making them. However, they seem to sell well enough just reissuing it as is from time to time...which equals the best profit. No additional costs to make, just sell and profit. It's more likely they do a toon redeco before doing a new MP-10 scale, G1 mold. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Takara eventually does another G1 Prime, though, but it's probably years off and another reboot down the road...or a newly labeled MP-like line.

I'd honestly hope so. My only reason for buying MP's if for cartoon accuracy and the new aesthetic is perfect for me.

 

I believe the best option if it happens could be a full version and one without the trailer honestly dont take me wrong i love the trailer but sincerely it doesnt offer too much it only would help to increase its price and shipping a convoy at ironhide o grapple price range would be good option if it doesnt happen i would buy it but sell the trailer and roller i believe after seing our favorite firetruck that the proportions of the arms can be improved the same goes for the legs with a little les details on legs the arms in a more blocky form more like hot rod and grapple where the joint doesnt affect the arm stetic or form maybe include sideswipe jetpack

 

a toon accurate mp figure would be a figure with zero details. just saying. or have you not seen the animation model lately?

personally, i'd prefer this one over a toon accurate mp figure. and give it the yellow eyes. the yellow eyes stand out WAY better.

 

The animation accurate MPs are just new paint jobs. They might do some minor remolds, but I doubt they'd do anything drastic enough to change the proportions.

 

a masterpiece optimus, that is toon accurate, wouldn't be a toon accurate optimus without the trailer. considering the trailer is quite literally 1/3rd of optimus prime. and if i remember correctly, he can not live without it. nor can he without roller.

so it'd be completely inaccurate.

 

you are right eve though that i would sell the trailer hahaha but given the recent mps i believe it is quite posible i dont like things like the gap between the arm that left some articulation for me it isnt estetic

I never liked how MP-10 looked, his head in particular bothers me, it doesn't look like the cartoon, and it doesnt look like the toy, so what's the point?

 

It'd be a waste of an MP. There's no reason for that to exist, it would only please, like, a handful of people and Takara actually doesn't have a precedent for making entirely animation accurate molds.

MP-14 doesn't even have his transformation modified to accommodate the actual differences in appearance. This is such a bizarrely specific request.

 

I don't forsee a new mold being made, but I could see a cartoon colored release as being in the realm of possibility. If we have various colored camouflage versions of MP-10, is a cartoon color version all that far fetched?
