    What transformers figures can you think of that have claws for hands instead of hands with fingers? For example, Energon Shockwave has a claw for a hand...

    Lugnut has three 'fingers' that are like claws.
    Animated Shockwave does, too.
    Energon Bulkhead has a claw assembly armor thing it comes with. So does Landmine.
    Armada Scavenger (kind of).

    Scorponok is probably an obvious answer and the first that springs to mind. Was he the first? I know Kickback had claws but he was always drawn with actual hands the same with Huffer.

    I remember in the UK comic when Grimlock (I think) said that Scorponok's claws were very powerful but he can't hold a pencil very well!
