I know this is a super early but thinking about Generations Omega Supreme when it finally gets made would it be a Triple Changer or would it still be a parts former like the original. It doesn't seem Hasbro is doing parts forming nowadays so I don't really know how they are going to approach him. If they go with triple changer I guess he will just become a robot, a rocket, and maybe some kind of tank or something similar?

I would dig something that can transform from robot into a "spacecraft" mode, that has the option of splitting apart from there.

I loved that he was a parts former when I was a kid. He was a fun toy. Hopefully my son has as much fun with him that I did.

That sounds awesome. I think there was an older thread where someone said he could probably have his Animated ship mode as a third mode if they went that direction.

Yea I agree. I used to have one of those but I sold it a while back. The only things I hated about the original is that the electronics easily fried and the walking mechanism was pretty fragile thanks to the inner workings of the toy.

I think the updated version could be something similar to the duocons

Omega was the only figure that parts-formed that I really enjoyed as a kid. Yeah, losing the yellow clips was easy to do, but the figure as a whole was excellent for its time.
The updated platinum version of the Energon mold was surprisingly awesome for me, as it really brought back memories of the original without the chance of losing integral connection pieces.
If they redo the character in the Titan class, I truly hope they combine elements from both. Splitting into a tank and a rocket, but combining into a base or battle station would be pretty desirable.

I think he should turn into the Autobot shuttle from the 86 movie. And you can separate the bridge like in the movie for a smaller shuttle and then the back part of the ship could transform into a tank. Or just go the Animated route and have him turn into the ark.

I'd like to see a triple changer, like something that could homage both the good old G1 Omega, the Energon one, and the WFC badass.

Something similar to Overlord... and Also, his size should not be as tall as metroplex, but bigger than Devastator

I'd be okay with him being a parts former, though since the current theme of Generations is the Titanmaster gimmick he'd most likely need to be a triple changer and a Headmaster. Which I'd be okay with since it'd be a somewhat neat reference to Energon Omega Supreme, who was my childhood Omega Supreme.

I voted Parts-former. I love the train-track wings. I'd be really happy with him at Devastator-class (and have the tracks be the right width for Raiden, while I'm wish-listing).

I would prefer partsforming this time around.

Parts forming makes sense to me but as long as I get this big rocket that transforms into a huge robot I'm pretty good. A futuristic craft as a third option could be cool, but part of the appeal with Omega is all the different moving parts so I voted parts forming.

A little bit of both. I want the tank to be a viable stand-alone figure, with the tracks, rocket base, and rocket being able to form armor for the robot and maybe hook onto the tank if need be.

I voted for triple changer. I didn't realize people still want partsforming.

There's no way to "be" Omega Supreme without him being a Titan Class partsformer.

But not sure why that's a dirty word.

I don't mind partsforming where it fits. There's no real way to do G1 Omega Supreme's alt mode properly without partsforming.

Omega Supreme is definitely a parts former, and the figure is not a triple changer because three modes or not, none of the modes can make up anything other than the robot mode. It's the same way with Generation 1 Overlord, the figure is composed of two different vehicles and it's not a triple changer.
