I'm curious what kind of responses I'll get to this question.

Let's say, for whatever reason, you're now forced to part with your ENTIRE collection.. Save ONE. You're allowed to save 1 figure, and by "figure" I mean: "Whatever came from the original package" (So for example Titan Devastator would count as ONE FIGURE) Who would you save? Would you save a figure w/ sentimental value, official or a 3rd party? Would you pick something you've customized for yourself? I look forward to your responses.

For me, it would likely come down to a coin flip between Titan Devastator and Hasbro's MP Soundwave.

    Nucleon Quest Super Convoy.

Sentimentality? Check. It was the first Transformer given to me as a gift from my wife for Christmas.

Awesome toy? Check. Powermaster Prime is an awesome toy and this would keep him in my possession.

I have considered retiring this particular hobby before. If I did decide to sell my entire MP collection, I would probably keep MP Bee. It might be a toss-up between him and Soundwave.

Now, if I included my childhood G1 figures as part of my collection, and had to part with everything except for one figure, I'd have to keep my first ever transformer, being G1 Soundwave.

    Unite Warriors Defensor.

Almost could've been Bruticus, but UW version still not out and the CW are all sold individually. Defensor has the best mold variety of the combiners I have and being a boxset, is a single TF that gets me 5 separate components.

Henkei Convoy/Classics Prime with the G3 Trailer is a very, very close runner-up.

No question about it,FansToys FT07 Stomp would be the 1 simply because he is the very definition of Perfection.

But in truth I love all my FansToys Dinobots (and can't wait till FT08 Grinder comes out so I can replace my MP08 Grimlock with him,Grimlock was nice at the time but with him next to my FT's he just looks blah).

    Generations Armada Starscream.

I am a HUGE Screamer fan and I only became one after watching the Armada anime. His character arc matches that of some of my favorite anime characters and this figure is a masterpiece to me.

I dont have a lot of figures, but I have to say Combiner Wars Megatron. I feel it does a great job to capture his G1 Cartoon character.

Probably Beast Machines Airraptor. There isn't much out there that can replace him in the awesomenes dino-bird department. Been my favourite transformer since I discovered he existed whilst Energon was out.

Super Fire Convoy. It's what started this madness of adult collecting.

alternate would be some version of Classics Prime. The best G1 Prime mold ever.

2 alternate would be Binaltech Smokescreen. Favorite character, favorite car.

Toss-up between MP-01 (sentimental reasons) or MP-29 (lifelong Shockwave fan).

Right now it would be my super minty and complete G1 Jetfire that I acquired last year, a present from my wife and family. Took a long time and a lot of patience to scout him out, and as a gift it has extra special value that goes above and beyond.

Animated Leader Shadow Blade Megatron. No question.

I've got others that have more sentimental value, I've got others that I think are better engineered. I, well, over the last nine years, I've had dreams where that's who I was in the dream. Odd, yes. But I'm talking more than half a dozen of them that I recall.

My G1 Optimus Prime. Sure it is beat up from years of play, has an arm crazy glued on to even further limit articulation, and is missing more than several parts; though I still have the box and foam insert. It was a Christmas present back in 1984 or 1985 and still remember the excitement when I opened it after Midnight Mass Christmas Eve/Day.

    Transformers Generations Drift.

It's the figure that got me back into collecting and into comics as well.

Funny. That's the first figure I bought to start my collection as an adult.

I would say Fanstoys Sludge, with MP Ultra Magnus as a close second.

MP-10. Boring answer, but he's iconic, fun, looks great on a shelf.

    My G1 Bumblebee.

It's been with me for nigh on 25 years, I remember buying it for a whole 99p from Woolworths.
