Seems they dropped the price here from 79.90 to 59.90

That's 25 percent price reduction. Sales must be really bad, and this is at Toys R Us Malaysia.

When the buying stops, so does the ridiculous prices Hasbro charges for them.

Even at 59.90 it's still overpriced because of the poor engineering/detail that goes into these series.

Is that the only retailer in your area that carries the line? Heck, at least you still have an Air Raid on the shelf, those are long gone here. But at least Walmarts in the U.S. seem to be selling through deluxes reasonably fast, at least Combaticon members (Swindle seems to sell slower though).

Combiner Wars is doing pretty well. What their most likely doing is trying to move out stock so they will have room for Titans Returns figure. Happens all the time.

Meanwhile in dear old Blighty there are None left and a fewof us here would love the chance to get sniffy and leave multiple Hounds/Smokescreens on a shelf.

    Poor sales? I doubt it.

Once you see the same mold for the 4th and 5th time, you kind of sour on the line.

    1) Gotta clear shelf space for the TR line.
    2) TRU charges 25% more for CW Deluxes than your average retailer ($20 there vs $15 elsewhere).
    3) Hasbro has nothing to do with what TRU chooses to charge.
    4) What part of the engineering/detail are you offended by? This is arguably the best line this fandom has seen in some time (excluding MP's)

It seemed CW moved pretty well where I was, the last line of Autobots did seem redundant.

I bet the sale most likely is because Titans return is coming soon. They need anything they got to move.
