Dear All, I would like to ask for your help. This year I received a very special present for my birthday, a transformers figure. Over 30 years this isn't really a gift people usually get from the parents. My mom told me that decades ago she had bought this figure which she must have forgotten to give me. So this little guy (see the picture below) was sitting in a big cardboard box in the attic of my mom's house for more than 20 years and he was waiting for day they when he can leave his prison. The day has come because as mom told me she was looking for some old books when she found it and with some delay I received the toy... I am not familiar with the transformers toys, I used to have 3 or 4 figures, some of them were copycats and that's all. I would like to know what it is actually and whether it is worth anything. I did not find much information regarding it. Thanks Picture:
That'll be an Italian Action Master Bombshell. Didn't have a US release so might be worth a little bit. However Action masters aren't the most popular or in demand line there (seems to be a better opinion of them in europe) and I wonder on the demand for an Italian variant. I think if you can find the right buyer you could do well on it, but it's quite a specific market. Nice piece though with a nice story behind it.
I'd say he's worth a nice chunk of money, but I'm not sure how much. It's a European exclusive Action Master Bombshell, and I think I recall those selling loose for around $100. Yours is sealed and the card looks to be in perfect condition.
It's Action Master Bombshell. Action Masters where a subline of nontransforming actionfigures Hasbro released at the end of the first (G1) Transformer toyline about 1991.And the Bombshell Action Master toy was one of several that where only released in Europe. Considering this one is still in his unopened package, you might fetch a bit of money if you find the right person to sell it to. If that is what you want to do with it at least.
There's a few loose ones listed on eBay for $33-40. They look almost complete. There's a loose complete one for about 100 with no bids.
Thanks a lot for all the replies. As a matter of fact, I was just curious about how much it was worth as it is an old toy in a quite good condition but I don't intend to sell it. I simply wouldn't be able to do so knowing how I received it.
One day something like this will happen to me!!!!! My in-laws asked my wife and I to help clean out their house they've been in forever and which is filled with boxes of old stuff. My dream is to find a MISB TF in one of those boxes...sure, they had all girls that didn't care about TFs, but maybe one was going to a boy's birthday party and got him a TF, but then couldn't go, so the TF is still there! It could happen, right?!?!
