This is a thread specifically for fans of HASBRO- Transformers in particular. This is an intended sanctuary for people to come and relax to discuss what they like and love about HASBRO's product.
    All are welcome.
What is NOT welcome is coarse and unconstructive criticism. Phrases like "HAZBLOW" may be appropriate elsewhere, but not here. Likewise comments to the effect of "These are shit!" should not be tolerated. Nor should Unlicensed 3RD. Party be mentioned or discussed. This is purely a love and appreciation thread for HASBRO Product thread, and derogatory posts like the prior examples should be reported and hopefully the offending post will be taken care of by an actual TFW MODERATOR.
It would be nice if this thread can be stickied.

    Great. I'll start.

Regardless of whatever criticism, nitpicking, or flat out negativity any product garners leading up to it's release...I've yet to make a purchase where I wasn't instantly entertained and happy I did so.

For that, I thank Hasbro for what they do.

    Thank you.

YES! This thread is what I've always wanted! A place where Hasbro can be recognized and appreciated. For me, Transformers is very personal, it always has been. Collecting is a part of my life and something that defines me. They make 90% of of that collection!

Honestly though, Transformers are the absolute bomb!

I'm becoming a fan by default, I can't afford Takara figures anymore, except when it's an exclusive mold.

Combiner Wars toys can never be put down for me for so long. I've had the first wave for over a year now and it's just as fun now as it was back then to make Superion and Optimus Maximus and Bruticus and all the others. Really high play value.

I like having Hasbro and Tamara because it means different decos based on what you want. That being said, I usually prefer Hasbro decos to takara when it comes to things like chug. I lean towards toy accuracy and colors rather than G1 cartoon. I also lean towards IDW style which takara does not seem to like usually

THANK YOU bellpeppers!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this!

I want this thread to to last forever. Without Hasbro, most of us would never have known what Transformers even were, much less still be collecting them today.

Silly question, though, are pics of Hasbro figures with third party accessories okay?

Hasbro kind of owns me. I should probably buy their stock so I can (sort of) own them. I certainly buy enough from them and their divisions. :)

I am largely OK with Hasbro.

and I buy more products from them than any other.

    I think that's enough. :)

Well, if it weren't for Hasbro, I wouldn't have a collection. After buying a G1 Skywarp, my next purchase was Generations Springer. Thanks for that Hasbro! Now I'm hooked!

I like Hasbro especially more in these difficult times.

Constraints are of all times and all sorts, such as lack of paint and hollowness.
However, I do think the progress of engineering eclipses the side effects of these restraints, moreso than in
    previous years.

CHUG 2006 - 2009 may have had more paint and pins, but today's engineering makes a current CW aerialbot a better toy than a 2007 CHUG seeker.
Sure, CW may have gotten a bit repetitive but this is about positioning the brand again properly with mass consumers. Few of them will get all combiners, but many of them will buy at least some combiners ; and that's where numbers start to really count.

And those results are what enable Titans Return. It enables proper character debuts which would have been mere repaints in previous years.
2010 -2014 were good, but it featured a lot of loose (IDW) character interpretations, and I happen to generally like those less. Also, the mainline still had to be supported by WFC, FOC and repainted movie figures.

So, finally with Titans Return, I see proper dedicated molds for characters I have waited a long time for ; and they will feature a return to proper size, a return of wrist swivels ontop of what was already more effective articulation as seen in CW.
They will be fresh proper characters who will pose better, look properly G1 evocative, at proper size again - only at the cost of a little less plastic, a few less screws and pins - but ultimately, a toy line more desirable to me.

    Thank you Hasbro.

Yeah, true. When they want to they can make some kick-ass figures - Generations Springer, Leader Jetfire and many others:cool: .

Even though it's been repainted numerous times, I can't lie - I love that Dead-End, Wildrider, Streetwise, and Prowl mold from CW.

Since 3rd party caters to Masterpiece collectors now, and I hate Masterpiece and since Takara is too expensive for me I've had no choice to collect Hasbro made products. And they are great! I really like what Hasbro has done and its incredible how much they've improved on the RiD Warriors incredibly.

I don't see why not; had it not been for HASBRO 3P wouldn't exist. And the Accy's. serve HASBRO's figure.

I wish Hasbro would release more MP's as their price point is much more affordable than Takara Tomy, especially when it comes to the ridiculous pricing of those mall exclusives.

I wish they actually sold hasbro transformers at my local stores :(  There is no hunt in south central NJ. Ponies and Star Wars all over the isles though! Wasted 20 minutes of my day looking hard too.

Speaking of, does anyone know what Masterpiece figure(s) Hasbro is releasing this year and a rough timeline?
