Got an email from him yesterday saying there's a problem w shipping but will be updated successfully soon, I smell a BS excuse. Gonna file for paypal dispute if there's no movement today. If there's already this much problem at the ordering stage, can't imagine the kind of "customer service" that he offers if the toy needs replacement parts.
Same boat. Still about 30 days left in the paypal 180 day window. I'll hold off through the early part of next week as things can happen, however I'll put in the dispute after that if needed.
Heard back from dude on Sunday and he apologized for the delay which was cool. He also promised to get it out on Monday and as of today...not moving. Which is not cool. Time to send another email...
Never heard anything from the guy, even after I filed for paypal dispute. But on a positive note, the tracking is working and should be at my house today. I just hope it's not a box of seaweed or fish cake. Never again w this guy.
Finally received my Stomp and it's got a wrong part on it (see Stomp thread). But at this point I'm not even going to bother with prime toys after all this ordeal, just gonna hit up Dalianjj directly
Primetoys.net are collectors like us! I have ordered from them many times and never had an issue. I have had several issues with BBTS in the past and still order from them from time to time. Let's not slam a company before we know what happened.
Mine arrived today - box was a little dinged (presumably postal service's fault), but the figure was double bubble wrapped inside and absolutely safe and sound. Slight issues w/ communication and speed aside, I'm quite happy with my purchase.
I'm not trying to slam the dude. Things happen, and that's fine. The lack of communication was frustrating, but as long as they have product that's less expensive than anywhere else and this shipment gets to me aok I'll consider doing more business with them. It's good for future customers to know that even though there may be issues attached to your order, it isn't a reason to panic.
For the prices and the free shipping options you can't complain much. You just have to really understand that this is run and done by 1 person, that also has a regular full time job. Compare it to how big BBTS is and the fact that some orders sit in the "warehouse" for several days before being shipped.
Same here. Sent an email a couple days ago but haven't heard back, yet. Update: I got a reply to my email last night. "Sorry for the delay in processing your order. We had a larger response than we where expecting from our recent promo w/ TransMissions, and fell a bit behind. Your order is on it's way. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you." Shortly after, my USPS tracking started updating. Should have my stuff by Saturday.
I ordered UW Computron from Primetoys because pretty much every other online store was sold out. It was my first buy from him. Took about a month longer than most other sellers for it to ship and then once a shipping label was created it took over a week for the package to even start moving. Communication was really slow too, taking well over a week to get a reply. With this set sold out everywhere else what was most important to me was getting it, and getting it well packed and intact. On that, Primetoys delivered quite well, and I got a free Takara Cosmos new in package presumably for my longer waiting time. That was definitely cool! Honestly I wouldn't order from Primetoys again unless it was my only option since TFSource and BBTS have always been much quicker at shipping and communication, but Primetoys IS an option.
I placed an order on September 18 for an item that is still listed as in stock. Going on seven weeks my order still shows "unfulfilled" whatever that means. I am a legitimately very busy person. I forgot about this over a week ago when it was already very late because of how busy I am. My company actually makes things, complex things, not just resells from stock, and we never take this long to ship anything. So "busy" actually means something real to me than just waiting for orders to come in to turn around and ship out the same or next day. From my perspective this person is not busy, but negligent or lazy or especially incompetent. No one should ever have to remind a seller to ship an order. I won't be doing that. Since I used credit card I still have a week to file a dispute with them, but who's going to cut it that close. It goes without saying I'm never ordering from this person again and I'm advising against anyone else doing so. There was a substantial discount, but since he didn't fulfill the order, it's irrelevant. Unless this guy listed UW Baldigus on his site from his hospital bed or grave he's a piece of crap.
Wow! I am sorry about this. I'll try to contact the owner about this for you as he is a local in my city.
You're going to bitch about something on the forum without talking to the company or person you bought from first? Really? Does anyone interact with humans anymore? Maybe the site is wrong. We're all human and do make mistakes. Primetoys is a one man operation and this is not his primary job. The man has also has kids. He's local to us Chicagoland collectors and was recently at TFCON. I ordered from Anime-Export 6 MP Ratchets. When I got my package, there was only 5 inside. I contacted them and they verified the order, and later sent out the missing Ratchet. See how that works.
