Imagine a world of Combiner Wars where No figure was repainted or retooled and was a brand new mold. I know its impractical, but it would be soooo awesome

I don't care, I don't buy them as single figures, I use them as combiner limbs and they serve their purpose. Not like G1 and Masterpieces don't suffer from repaints.

Imagine a world where you could actually have time to buy the Perfect Combiner sets before going out of stock while ordering combiners left and right. :lol

Imagine a world where it was easy to get CW figures for the retail price instead of having to pay almost double most of the time.

Imagine a world where the figures cost 5 dollars and you get them shipped to your house for free.

Are all the molds still half-assed? The thing that puts me off most about the 3 molds they're currently using is none of them are really all that great...

The annoying thing is that, a while ago, this is how it would work. But no, Hasbro has to change things up.

The way I look at it is that we used to get 5-6 really good figures from each toy line and then lots and lots of mediocre filler. This line just made the 5-6 good figures, then Hasbro instead just bought a fancy copy machine.

New does not mean good. But, I don't think Hasbro did this arbitrarily, there has to be a sound business readon. Even so, sometimes businesses make asinine decesions, they are, after all, run by humans.

A while ago as in the 80's, and even then that wasn't completely true.

G1 combiner toys were tiny and had no articulation. Now we have elbows

I'd gladly sacrifice unique molds for elbows

G1 combiner components were hardly what I'd call decent figures. And I mean, I had a lot of the individual figures but never any of the central cores, so I couldn't even make up for it with that

The Aerialbots were probably the best, and the four of them were that bloody close to each other back then that if you're complaining about them being remolds then you need to get your priorities straightened out
