Just remembered another issue looking at my Superion today. On both my Skydive and Air Raid they wont stay tabbed together in alt mode, the back of the legs wont stay clipped into the jet all that well. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyway to fix it?
Um I haven't so its likely you just got an bad batch of figures either it was part of the first batch or idk what but its likely just mainly on your figure
My Son has Sunstreaker, he is nice and tight, but suffers from the same thing Breakdown suffered from, his lower legs not tabbing together in alt mode. Other than that he's fine.
I saw a G2 Superion review recently and he had the same issues. Im hoping its not a mold degradation thing.
I just opened my CW Swindle and when I transform him into vehicle mode, he doesnt seem to want to line up properly. I have the legs fully folded up per instructions but when I fold the hood over the legs and try to line them up, gaps open on the side by where the arms sit. I fix one side, the other side opens a gap and vice versa.
I haven't had any problems with my CW figures. I don't have a ton of them, but all the ones I have are in good shape.
I only now saw this recently,my Hotspot which I had for more then 6months, his leg ratchets were off and his legs were right next to each other and the wheels were rubbing against each other. My buddy picked up a HotSpot the other day and the legs had a wider stance,I wouldnt of noticed this on mine unless he showed me his. I thought it was a running change too,but after popping open the hips I saw the rachets were misaligned and once back together I had a proper stance.
Aside from Alpha Bravo's side-mounted pegholes being a bit too small (and cracking under the pressure) and First Aid's legs not tabbing together for a solid arm mode, CW hasn't given me any real trouble that I haven't been able to fix by shaving something down, using something to thicken a balljoint, or tightening a screw a hilariously small amount. (No seriously the lambo mold's hips were dead solid until consciously moved once I did that.)
My Breakdown hasnt had any issue and has stayed tabbed together in all modes, super tight too. Its funny everything else I have has had one issue or another.
couples -Offroad's legs do not want to stay tabbed together if he's in arm mode. -First Aid's legs didn't want to tab into his backpack in leg/vehicle mode. Shaved it down and it works fine. -Blades is a bit tight. -Other than his Waist, Brawl's legs don't tab together at all. I can't use him in arm mode because they refuse to stay together. Leg mode is OK, though.
