If he is ever released what would you expect him to have such as features, accessories, articulation etc...

Me personally I would want a removable face plate like Ultra Magnus with a robot face underneath it like the Unicron scan from TF:TM.

Apollyon but slightly thinner and a better face sculpt. (Apollyon's isn't even bad I just think TT could do better) That would be the perfect MP Megs, really.

    Alt reply: Beast Megatron. :3

For one thing I want an official one to exist.
That said I do want him to have decent articulation (and for Primus' sake don't engineer flaps or pevises that inhibit the thigh movements). Soundwave level articulation would please me to no end or even add double jointed knees (though not necessary.) Appearancewise I don't want them to make him as stupidly thick as Apollyon (Which I like, but I feel the designer put too much work into making him thick and MP5 thin that he ended up bulkier than necessary.) Also I want the figure to have clean looking legs inside and out. That's probably difficult but I think it's doable. Again, Apollyon comparisons being inevitable, this was one of my biggest gripes with the figure; it had a lot of junk on the inner legs. I feel like they still could make a realistically proportioned gun and thicken the legs. I requires a bit of panel movement but it's doable.
I also sort of want them to include two fusion cannons. While it might constitute partsforming for some I feel like having two sizes allows for proper appearance in both modes and those who don't want to partsform can keep one or the other on for both modes.
One finaly thing: I think they should somehow give the figure shoulder joints similar to Generations Roadbuster or Leader Megatron. Roadbuster specifically in my opinion pulled off nice ratchets that also anaged to look like robotic detailing (that sort of accordian look on the armpits for lack of better description) I think that's the best way to make him look good (and avoid the visual problem Leader Megatron had) and still get a good range.
And I want a black Microchange redeco :p

My best MP Megatron estimates would have to be the following.

    1.More toon accurate
    2.Stockier (not spindly like MP5)
    3.A better head sculpt
4.No chrome whatsoever (either want matte silver or gray highlights)
5.Have all his accessories like G1 like extended barrel and such
6.Reduce the size of his scope (MP5 looked oversized)
    7.Make the scope non-detachable
8.And the most important is no Cosmic Rust like MP5

That would be my ideal MP Megatron.

That is an interesting point. What if the cannon could collapse and expand so you won't need two of them?

The problem with the scope wasn't just the length, it was the overall volume. To be a little more screen accurate the barrel's radius would actually need to be smaller as well and there's no clean way to do that. It's also a bit of a weight issue as on top of everything MP5's cannon would tip towards the right in a relaxed standing position. I myself managed to get the figure to point the cannon forward unsupported and be fairly stable (it stood that way for like a month till I moved it) but the arm could still easily tip depending on how you moved it.

It may drive up the overall cost of the figure to have an engineered collapsing/telescoping scope/arm cannon. I wouldn't mind having two scopes in different sizes. Nice idea though.
I would also like at least 4 different expressions: a stern serious face, a smirk face, an angry squint eyes face and lastly a battle damaged face.

I like your idea of having the reformatted megatron face underneath the helmet. Genius!

Only must is Mace and Chain

    WANT:
At least 3 different face sculpt options with different expressions (evil grin, angry grimace, normal/stoic)
    thrown/chair from Nemisis
translucent energy blasts similar to ones MP Ratchet and MP Ironhide are getting
translucent energon-shield when Starscream shot him.

I own MP5, Apollyon, and CW Megatron. I boxed MP5 back up a few months back but I THINK the figure does have ratcheted shoulders. They don't have a good range of movement (MP22's limit roughly). He's got ratchets both for rotation and outward movement. It might've helped to somehow design it with wider elbows.
The thing is Apollyon's got the smaller cannon and the shoulders are ball jointed while the elbows definitely aren't ratcheted. The balljoints that are on him out of the box are notoriously weak but the included replacements are super tight allowing the figure to hold the cannon arm up just fine (after a while it gets reasonable in tightness but still holds).
It might have partly to do with the smaller scale of the figure as well but the smaller cannon does make weight less of an issue (in addition to appearance.)
Cw Megatron's meanwhile features ratchets on both the shoulders and the elbows. Having Powerglide attached to his cannon arm and having him hold his two guns all on the same arm it still stays outstreteched.
Ratchets would certainly help but I think ultimately the weight of the cannon is still a major factor.
    I'd preorder instantly.

i would actually like an MP version of CW leader megatron. not a fan of guns and replicas (even ones that transform) are of questionable legality in my homeland

It would have to be a gun or it wouldn't be a MP figure of g1 Megatron.

I would like to see clear tabs on his forearms for Laserbeak/Buzzsaw (ala soundwave), a figure of Dr. Arkeville, and extensions for the pistol. Anything else is a bonus.

Same here. Plus Megs was never a character that I bothered about. If I have to have one then I have no problem with it being a tank. CW Megatron was pretty close to what I would accept, just make it more articulated and I am fine.

You've pretty much described Apollyon lol. Add in forearm tabs for cassette birds et voila. Fwiw I think MP Megs will most likely be a more refined version of XTB's version.

if that were the case, it wouldn't in any way be a masterpiece figure.

all i want out of an updated version is accuracy.

i have and really like apollyon, but i still want a proper official version. hopefully they can do the legs a bit better, and the feet.

i'd like to see megatron's feet better designed into his legs (like they were in the show) rather than being an entirely separate piece (like apollyon and mp-05).

as for accessories.. the mace (obviously), his purple pistol, and he MUST have his stock and silencer. anything else would just be a bonus. maybe a couple heads.. and maybe a stand for gun mode.

and if they have no plans on doing a proper masterpiece megatron, i'd rather they then focus on giving us a galvatron rather than some poor law abiding substitute.

hell, i'd even prefer a G1 accurate, masterpiece scaled, non transformable model kit megatron over some out of place substitute.
