I saw the 2015 Spending and Purchases thread at the tail end of last year so I wanted to make an excel spreadsheet to record all of my purchases. . . . I am horrified at how quickly things add up. With that said 2016 was a really great year as far as collection for me. Maketoys Cogwheel & Trashtalk My First blaster Takara Skids TFCC Chromedome Fakebuster Trivia + FUD Head Ku Bian Bao MP-10V Mech Ideas Apex & Geminus Wei Jiang M01 Commander (Clean) Takara Springer Titans Return Brainstorm Total: $501.23 I do have some pre-orders and one random junker figure I used for a custom which would bring my total to 801.78 But for figures I physical bought, this was not too bad. The scary part is factoring in the cost of all of the IDW comics I bought. I won't give a list but comic book expenses this year totaled $250.66. WAY more than I ever expected but well worth the investment. Total expenses for the year (including misc. Transformers merchandise and not including pre-orders): $795.47
Pretty much done for 2016. Finally picking up MP Red Alert from a board member, and may still pick up TR Sixshot or push him into 2017. I'll need to update my Quicken report since MP Skywarp has dropped since I last looked, and I picked up some TR figs at retail, including Wave 3. I've finally gotten caught up on the G1 MP's I'd missed previously, so looking forward to not playing catch-up with those again next year. Very much looking forward to the new MP Megatron in 2017. Also looking forward to MP Dirge so I can finally be done with the $200 MP Seeker mold!

Up to and including TR AstroSpats purchased this morning spending on TFs (Official and 3P) this year is at £3,767. That doesn't include postage where that was applicable to the purchase. Unless I see a TR Megatron or Sixshot in the wild here (unlikely) that may be it for my year as I'm as current as I want to be. It's the first year since 2010 where spending on Official to 3P Product has been approx 2:1. This is just about half what I spent last year. And it doesn't even make me close to the heaviest spender even in the UK Thread. It's certainly sobering to look at it as just a bare total.
