I've got the Generations one, although parts of the CW one look more G1ish to me

Yeah. That was cool. Especially with Timesynch's mods.

There's also the KO version which is ultra class?

    Any 3P? I don't remember any. Even 3p don't like Trailbreaker?

I'm using the Takara Generations one. It's too small for my liking but it's the only choice and I certainly think it's better than the CW one.

this pic is slightly outdated, I have iGear Ironhide/Ratchet swapped for the Henkei ones and I'm using Maketoys Gears instead of the legends one

I think the feet addon for the Generations Breaker and Hoist is still in the works somewhere, It would help so much. If CW Trailbreaker was the First Aid mold with the gun arm and blue chest highlights it would have been sooo much closer in execution quality to the Generations mold.. Soo much closer.

Generations with the X2 add on. I'd like him to be taller, for sure, but he looks fantastic and this downsized and hollowed out CW mold reuse just ain't cuttin' it for me.

I'm using the Takara Generations Trailbreaker with a Hasbro head (for a more cartoon accurate blue visor). Upgraded with X2 Toys kit/stickers but I'm hoping the Echo/DMY kit will also get released so he'll be taller.

I currently am using the Generations Trailcutter as my CHUG Trailbreaker but am also getting the CW version too.

This is because I think the Generations is more IDW and CW is closer to G1 for me. Also I have no problem with owning more than one version of a character.

Generations Trailbreaker. I like the IDW design over the G1 toy and cartoon design, so I won't be switching him out anytime soon.

I'm really really hoping that with a well trimmed/cut and creatively placed set of G1 stickers Combiner Wars TB could look so much better than a hunk of black plastic..

I'm with the CW one, I don't own any of his variants (offroad mold) or any Trailbreaker... plus it looks more cartoon accurate and the body works, unlike ironhide

I'm going with Generations for this one. That mold works so much as being both an update and a homage to the original G1 show/Toy design. I don't why they made a CW Trailbreaker when the last one we had isn't even that old and that hard to find for a good price to begin with. It's not like with guys like Prowl,Ironhide,Mirage/etc that had toys that were much older and harder to get and warrant some alternative for those who aren't as picky about some G1 guys being combiners. I guess for the people who prefer Trailbreaker to be a little more G1 would be happy with the CW version. If they made a Diaclone inspired repaint out of the CW version then I'd consider getting it,like how I would go for a Diaclone painted Bluestreak,Cybertron Downshift from CW Wheeljack and Police Sunstreaker from CW Sunstreaker.

I really like the Generations mold. He's small, sure, but he's a fun mold. Added a few paint apps, and he looks just how I want him to!

What?.. How is combiner wars trailbreaker at all more accurate than the generations version?

I believe that he means that certain design elements of the CW Trailbreaker are more in line with the G1 show then the last Generations update which in that case I do see what he means by that.
