I love.... LOVE tf prime deluxe dead end(the wheeljack remold) - it looks like bane and the joker mixed together in a blender and thrown on a transformer. The head sculpt even looks a little like Bane.
Damn, I think you just added another pirate to the crew. I'm working on a team of misfit bots and cons to make a pirate crew for Blackmane. So far, it has been oddly centered on Prime and movieverse figures but I'm open to just about any suggestions.
At the risk of looking like a copycat of tikgnat's post: Weirdly colored TFs can be fun, especially given how overexposed certain characters can get and how prevalent "real is brown" can be. It's also very nostalgic if you grew up during the 90s. The Cyberjets, G2 Combaticons, and Action Master Thundercracker had amazing ridiculous color schemes. I think it was Universe that also did weird repaints. And of course there's the upcoming Victorion and G2 Combiners.
Universe Optimus Primal. I don't know why but I simply love it. If I were to lose my whole collection, he's in my first three replacememts.

Just nominating the custard'n'cream shenanigans of HFTD Sunspot. And first movie Fearswoop. Actually, the more you think about it, G1 threw up a Magenta sports car to lead the good guys and Leozack was a mint/teal jet. That's kickin' rad. Plus, tikgnat and I have spotted some horrendous KOs in NW London. Might have to spam the thread with those.

Absolutely. It was one of the things I really liked about the original Universe toy line. Not all of the color schemes worked, but they were certainly interesting.
Man just looking at some of those decos... I wish I could find the black and orange Snow Cat, he looks so awesome.

Double Post! But I am trying to save this thread from oblivion so here we go. Another in the "movieverse" repaints (although they are plainly G1)... Getaway! I must say his vehicle mode is pretty kickass, even if it's not quite the same design as the original. Robot mode is pretty great as well with all the colouring in place from G1, yellow face and all. The only complaint I have is the head sculpt doesn't have the mouth guard that the original has, but what are ya gonna do. This is about the coolest pose I could get out of him. He is a bit limited for articulation which is surprising considering his mold is from one of the main characters. Here he is next to his buddy Skids from the comics ready to moderately wound ass. Coming back to both these guys, I was a bit disappointed in their posability, especially as they are newer toys but I digress... Getaway is an awesome and unexpected repaint I am glad to have as the original was one of the only "big" Autobots I had as a kid. I seriously hope we get some sort of update to him in the Titans Return line because we are getting Powermaster Prime and his powermaster brother Joyride has been in the Battle Tactics game for a while now so fingers crossed.
If your looking for odd color schemes, look no further than Beast Wars and its array of eye catching color contrasts: orange and blue complement each other very well: spittor frog Cyan and yellow-gold are an odd mix: quickstrike (scorpion) Or how's about the (surprisingly not very Christmas-y) colors of trans-purple, green and red? manterror robot mode Primal manages to pull off the red-and-white look without coming off as medic-y. primal pose This guy looks like he came straight out of G2!
