What toy line do you think has the most difficult Transformers to transform? I ask because it seems any time I try to transform a new Transformer as opposed to the ones I grew up with (in G1) I'm sitting their for almost 10-20 minutes trying to change alt modes. Specifically when it's Alternators Sideswipe or Generations / Classics Sandstorm, which is another one that seems to get me and take too much time. Part of the fun I like about the original Transformers toys (G1 & G2) was the quickness of which the Transformer could go from Robot to Car/Jet/Animal etc.

What Transformers consume the most time for you to transform? What line do you think has the most challenging transformations?

    The consensus is:

    Most difficult line: ROTF
    Most difficult bot: Mixmaster

Pretty much ROTF to me, I can't pick a single figure from that line but... People say that was a highlight of the brand but honestly I'm glad things got easy afterwards. I mean I got so frustrated with so many of the figures, I tried Leader Prime (my nephew's) and I hated it, Leader Megs I can't figure out, and the list goes on.

Mixmaster? Please, that was my favorite ROTF figure because of his fun transformation!

I'd have to say WFC Optimus Prime, but even that isn't challenging enough. I can transform him behind my back, literally.

I hear people say ROTF but I never really had any problems with them. Admittedly, I never had any of the larger voyager and leader class figures but even from what I've seen, they aren't that bad.
Masterpiece Megatron is a bit annoying but the only really hard bit on mine is the waist swivel part that is too stiff.
Again, people say the Beast Wars combiners are hard to transform but I've had no problems with them since I was a kid. I did recently get Magmatron but he wasn't hard to transform either apart from some stiff joints and panels.
The only really difficult one I have to transform isn't an official transformer: Mastermind Creations Knight Morpher Cyclops (Hearts of Steel Shockwave). I do wish they had carried on with the Hearts of Steel series or we had gotten some official toys but I will stick with the Knight Morphers until we get them.

People always say Masterpiece Megatron, but while it is lengthy it always seemed to transform well without any problems. On the other hand the wfc deluxe bumblebee never seemed to fit together right no matter how much I fiddled with it.

Although if we take official out of the requirements then Apollyon takes the top spot in difficulty in my collection... panels and flaps and armatures oh my :)

    LOL

Someone said WFC Optimus, practically the whole WFC line is hard to transform anger fuel that was improved with the somewhat better FOC line.

Oh and TFCC Dion/Universe Hot Shot.

I don't have Bee but I do have Cliffjumper. I never found him hard to transform, I just think it's impressive how such a big bot mode can make such a compact vehicle mode. I like all the WFC molds but Megatron seems like the biggest let down as far as complexity goes. Still, lots of engineering and design went into these guys (Soundwave was the third transformer I got after the wife got me back into collecting)

ROTF Mixmaster and Jetfire. Mixmaster because the dang thing is a egg that never wants to piece together right and Jetfire because I rip apart my palms trying to tab him together.

^Jetfire could never stay solid in Jet Mode for me either. Which is a shame because the Blackbird is my favorite aircraft.

I have bad luck with getting Bumblebees to vehicle mode. 07 Supreme Class' arms take a while to get situated in the frame, Animated Deluxe's windshields are always coming off the balls, I have no idea how to get RotF Deluxe's ab crunch back in its socket anymore, and the WFC toy's legs are frustrating. As such, the Animated Activator is my favorite Bumblebee; transforms with the push of a button and scales better with most of his teammates. :D

WFC Prime is complex but I find it enjoyable to do. I only had four figures from that line but it's probably my favorite subline pound for pound.

That's like saying, I never saw what was so great about the Godfather movies, but admittedly, I never saw Godfather 1 or 2.
