I think we have to get some toys in our hands to appreciate them. But I am excited for it!

Across the line it looks like a bunch of characters I don't have so I am excited to pick up a bunch of stuff. I think besides Galvatron I am most excited for the possibility of a convention/online exclusives: Twincast repaint of Blaster and Brave Maximus.

Well, the Devasator thread started as leaks and images, and was changed to Appreciation once the leaks stopped and it was actually released.

I can appreciate what I see, and as long as Slip keeps the first post updated, this should be fine.

    Dat PM Prime doh.

I thought I was excited for Combiner Wars but wow, this stuff is great.

Do I secretly like G1 toys (as far as updates go?) Tune in next week to find out!

Perhaps the Combiner Wars thread should be renamed to Prime Wars since I think it's the overarching name of the toyline trilogy isn't it? The front page here is getting stuffed full of appreciation threads.

Personally, I think it should be called It should be called the "2006-2015 Generations thread" because that's what it really is. Separate out the Prime Wars, for now, because they are the line du jour. Whenever it gets replaced change the date on the Generations thread to 2006-2017 and fold it in.. That seems it would likely be the most appropriate way to handle it.

Nah. I think separate line threads are fine, just for the fact that you can use the first page as a resource (barring that it's updated) to find images and news easier.

The Mods have made 3P based on each individual release figure, even the gestalts. (Unless it comes in a one box package) I don't see that changing for multiple lines.

    Too early? Probably.

But I truly do appreciate the fact that we're finally getting official updates (for my G1-based CHUG collection) of:
    -PM Optimus
    -giant ass Fort Max
    -Blaster
    -voyager Galvatron
    et al

Titans Return is finally catering to the easily forgotten part of G1! How can no one not be happy! I am a guy trying to get every G1 character in CHUG form and this line is helping me towards it! I thought 2015 was expensive but 2016 is going to be even worse with Combaticons, Sky Reign, Victorion, TFSS 4.0, & Titans Return plus whatever Cons come out of RiD15 all on my radar.

I think its good to have separate appreciation threads because sometimes you just want to talk about a specific toyline. The CHUG thread can cover the whole universe of toys.

Back on topic. Everything revealed so far looks very appealing. TR Galvy looks great. TR PMOP looks great. I'm looking forward to more reveals in the coming months.

I'm very excited for Prime. Those new guns look hollow enough to seat a headmaster in base mode, could be very cool. I'm just wondering what's going on with the chest. You can tell it opens in the base mode pics, but will it still fit minimus? Maybe it'll be remolded a bit to show more tech oriented for its position in base mode.

Okay I already said this in another thread but what is the point of Skorponok being made if his arch nemesis Fort Max is gonna be an exclusive of only 3000 pieces next year.I know I would be upset to only have one or the other and that's it.

So to all those fans voting in a few days to take that into consideration before voting, cause it has already been confirmed Fort Max will be like a SDCC or BotCon Exclusive and limited to 3000 pieces,so do you want a Skorponok without his rival, otherwise you will only be getting half the pie instead of all of it.

If I was mildly familiar with 84 cars and scramble-city teams, I definitely am not knowledgeable about any of the Headmasters. I look forward to seeing characters I've never heard of, like Hardhead.

I'm not terribly enthused about the only Astrotrain toy we're likely to get this decade suffering from Motormaster syndrome but if that's the only problem I have with 2016 it will be a pretty good year.
