Not oddly enough, I got into a one-sided argument about this. I used a word to detail one portion of the fandom's approach towards this topic. He dismissed everything and dictated that I was using the word to describe the people who were saying it. :redface2:  But what you said sounds correct to me. Because their opinions, with a few being quite a bit too preferential, seem to be what keeps them from enjoying it for what it is becoming. Or, as we can probably say here...

"They are not seeing the Cybertronians for their transformations." :lol

I've had more fun with this line since I was a kid in 1989 laying out all my Micromaster bases across the basement! I figured it was time to create an account and post some of these here. I spent 3 hours today trying to put the stickers on LG-31 (there were some problems :(  I wish I could get a replacement sheet) and rewarded myself with 30 minutes of posing and photoshop.

I think the gimmick also works to make a better toy. Less hollow spaces (since the head doesn't have to fold away, and we get cockpits for the figures. Plus if I'm correct, the headmasters are the smallest transformers (well not sure how they compare to MP Star saber's brain master. Pics?) Lastly they are just so fun. I spent 5 minutes head on and offing.

Welcome to the site! I love how fortress is just smashing them under his feet (now if they would have done that in the first episode of headmasters...) Also, the angle, lighting and takers paint make it look somewhat like IDW for max.

Has anyone else gotten the Nonnef foot upgrades for TR Hardhead? I love the extra height it gives him in robot mode and it doesn't look too bad in tank mode either.

Personally, it was my favorite sub-line since 1987. And it also had been something I wanted to see return since 2013. But I see what you are saying. And one of the few ironies I have faced is that I have lost the Headmaster to my original around 1988. But that was because I stored away all of my toys in the garage. Plus, I also found that replacing the Headmaster is a lot easier than repairing the head on a broken figure. Especially when the piece only wears a helmet, and modders can make it where the replacement works. And if I am correct, Star Saber's Brainmaster (which is a reverse-Headmaster) is larger than these. So this might actually be the smallest in regards to the current stuff. Overall, however, we need somebody that can compare these to the 1988 Headmasters and Targetmasters. Because I read somewhere that the 1988 Targetmasters might be a smidgen smaller.

    Oh... And giggity. :p

It's actually three that I've seen. The wolf neck flat joint, the cockpit lid, and the kneecaps. That said, mine has been rock solid with no issues.

Good to know. Now that you mention it, I've heard that Hard Head was a floppy mess for most, but mine was just on the other side of perfectly tight.

My Hardhead arms don't tab into the front of the tank properly which sucks. I just bought a Takara Hardhead hoping that it will be better.

-Edit, just opened the Takara Headhead and it's incredibly better. Every joint is fantastic out of the box, whereas on Hasbro, I had to superglue/floor polish a dozen joints and metal pins.

My Hasbro Hardhead is pretty much flawless in the QA dept.
I wish Scourge was the same, with that silly floppy neck. It's annoying that it is to do with the connector on the body more than the headmaster. If he wasn'tso good looking with Cyclonus and in alt mode I don't think I''d keep him.

So first time post. Was at TRU with my daughter and saw Fort Max and couldn't pass it up. Haven't collected transformers for awhile but love the titan mini bots. Thought I would join up on the fun.
