    is anyone else's Blackarachnia misassembled?

when comparing this to the Animated I noticed the rear of the spider was not locking over the robots shoulders in spider mode. upon comparing it with Animated I noticed the screw hole on the robot body was on the opposite side. apparently the pieces with the ball joints for the robot arms are on backwards. I took it apart and heated the rivet inside the waist pieces until they came apart. I swapped the upper body pieces and re-riveted the pieces. after re-assembleing her, the rear of the spider now locks over the robot shoulders when in spider mode. not a easy fix, I was cringing the whole time but now the spider mode is solid

hopefully mine was a isolated incident. its a fairly easy fix if you know what your doing and have the proper tools. I should have taken pictures before I fixed her

Looks like mine is the same. Didn't really notice until now. Doubt I'll do anything about it as the effect is not that big.

I did have another misassembly on mine too - the tail was misaligned because one of the swing-arms it's attached to was plugged on backward. I messed up trying to remove the swingarm, but was it was easy to replace the whole 'butt' section with one from a junker Animated BA.

I'll have to compare her to my Animated one to see if mine is the same.

wish I took pics, easiest way to tell in spider mode there is 1 screw on the side of the body if the screw is on the left side of the body and the "C" hinges of the rear spider mode do not rest on the robots shoulders correctly then yours is misasembled

I have a feeling mine is misasembled, I don't recall getting the rear to lock in place in beast mode when I had her out. I'll have to check when I get home later.

Surely this is a Hasbro release, as Takara would never make a mistake like this!

Mine seems to suffer from this misassembly issue as well, but I doubt it's worth the hassle of taking it apart to fix. The figure looks great and transforms without any issues, so I'm satisfied.

This. It's not a huge issue. I actually noticed the error when I was comparing it to my Animated figure. The slight flaw doesn't negatively impact the figure, so I'm not going to waste my time fixing it.

I'll say this: You have skill that you were able to fix that flaw without cracking the tiny bits of plastic. Bravo.
