So, with figure lines like Marvel Legends, DC Collectibles, Figuarts etc. all loosely having iconic human characters at around 6-inches, would you buy a Transformers toy big enough to roughly scale with them? And who would you want them to make?

I know I'd buy Bumblebee (who actually wouldn't be that big), Megatron, Prime (an honorary Avenger) and Starscream at this giant size if I could put them with Figuarts and stuff.

Yeah, too big for any company to produce except those that can do limited run things the size of statues like that Unimetal Prime - and even that isn't big enough.

Provided they were good yeah Id go for that, but they would likely have to limit their choices to smaller Transformers. Like say Spike and Bumblebee, Daniel and Wheelie, Kicker and Arcee, Coby and Coby Ramble etc... However I concur with the other posters, it's likely even those would be too big.

Still...The Batman Animated figure line is getting a 2 foot long Batmobile so...you never know.

It depend on the character. If they made movieverse Jazz and Arcee then hell yea. Other than that some of the other Bots would be too big.

I'd rather they made them to scale with GI Joe (HA and MP are just a bit too small), but again, it'd be cost-prohibitive

    Eh, I've seen bigger. ;)

Depends on your budget, obviously. ;)

But honestly, I'd rather see a lot more human figures produced at the standard 1:32 Transformers scale (which most deluxe vehicles and Masterpiece Autobots conform to), to complement our existing collections. :)

Yep, agreed. Last year I was seriously considering making a 1:32 scale diorama using various modelling accessories from model shops, train shops etc, but I abandoned that plan.

I'd wait until they did a scaled Unicron first.

Jakks makes Star Wars figures that are several feet tall. And there is a 4 foot tall TMNT figure.

But these are hollow plastic figures with no articulation and very limited paint apps. They look like giant bootlegs. Would anyone want that for TF? I didn't think so.

This is something I think a lot of fans have wanted for a while now. I think the train for this one has left the station, though.

Hasbro sells 6-inch scaled Star Wars vehicles. And yes they are massive, but Hasbro still carries them. So I wouldn't rule it out just because of size.

I was going to say those GI Joe/TF SDCC sets didn't give me the vibe that the figures would be cost prohibitive but then I thought about how big that jet was for Jetfire/Starscream. I think cars would be fine but you get to something like Optimus or larger and yeah, I can see it being hard to justify.

No they would be ridiculously huge and expensive. Very difficult to transform due to sheer size before you even get into the complexity of the transformation.

Also City bots would be bigger than your frikken house. :lol

I'd be happy with more Transformers scaled to Star Wars Crossover figurines. I was really disappointed the line didn't continue with GIJoe.

If I could afford it and have the space (which involves owning a giant property with dedicated collection rooms) then sure!

If it was just an enormous version of those crappy Titan Warriors or whatever figures with basic paint, no transformation, and no articulation, no bloody thank you.

If they were like "regular" TFs with full transformation and accessories scaled up, they would probably be ridiculously and prohibitively expensive. So still no.

...Except for that aforementioned scale Unicron, which I think we should all chip in for.

Oh yeah, add this to one of my conditions.

The figures have to be awesome or I won't give a crap about them.

I've been thinking about this idea for many years now.
