As the title states, have any of you ever pulled your collection from storage or elsewhere and found a figure you didnt remember having?
I recently opened a tote to retrieve my alternators and found Beast Wars Tigatron, the Takara release.
    Anyone else?

I found an RiD 2001 Mover. Well... some of him anyway. Apparently, his legs broke off and the whole body from the knees up is missing. Come on CW or UW, Make me a Ruination/Baldigus!

I recently opened a box in storage filled with a bunch of Transformers I forgot about. They never set in with me because I acquired them all at a garage sale for $10 or possibly free and never played with them like I did my originals as a kid. Here are pics of the unveiling:

Some of those were my old toys too that I do remember...The Zoid was one of my favorites.

I recently found a Henkei Rodimus I don't remember buying. It kinda prompted me to get Carry because he looked ******ed next to cw Magnus and Megatron.

Holy shit, those all look to be in fabulous condition, barring missing weapons and crap, but you even have some decoys! Those fuckers are valuable last I checked.

What's that Trypticon-esque toy? It looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on it.

Thankfully a G1 Wheelie a couple days before the local convention. Was making a list of minibots I needed, and didn't think I had one yet. Glad I found it because I don't really think my world needs two of them in my collection.

I always forget that I bought Robot Masters Starscream at one point. Every time I rediscover him I get a little more disappointed in him- it'll be worse now that I have MP Screamer :lol

Also, those minicons that came with early releases of Cybertron Primus. Ransack is one of my favorites to this day, but every time I come across the jet or the triceratops I have to think about where they came from.

They are mostly in great condition and I have almost all the weapons/accessories in a jar (including a complete Grimlock, Snarl and Swoop from the same batch). I was really happy about finding the Decoys in there.

That's the Zoid I mentioned...It's from my own collection as a kid. And Named below:

Pretty much everytime I open a box in storage, I find gems that I forgot about. Most of them are MISB stuff I got later in life because I remember most my toys as a kid pretty clearly.

Ha, now that you mention it I did find a G1 Wheelie in there too with Rodimus. Also an Astrotrain.

Considering about 95% of my collection is in storage, I am still sometimes surprised by the figures I find. Recently I came across a couple of figures which I could have sworn I'd sold (Alternators Swindle, Animated Swindle), and I was also surprised by finding MISB Fansproject Stormbomb, Backfiery and Thundershred, AND a MISB MMC KM-06 Knight Morpher Stormer.

I generally have a good memory of figures I bought new that have since gone into storage. Where I do forget however is stuff I've picked up secondhand loose at car boot sales. Very often I'll buy a figure from a 'boot only to discover I already picked one up from a stall previously. It doesn't help that my car boot purchases usually just go into storage boxes all mixed together while my 'proper' TF collection is all stored away by series. Usually though it's not a disaster since these car boot purchases are so cheap and I can always resell the duplicate figure(s) on my own stall (often for a little profit). Plus sometimes the more recent duplicate purchase is in better condition than the earlier one so I can swap them over or mix-and-match parts so I end up with a better quality figure in my collection.

But going through my main TF storage and discovering figures that I don't remember buying/owning? I can't recall ever having had an instance of that.

    :lol

Yeah, I recently pulled out Robot Masters Thundercracker and Skywarp, and I remember they were awesome at the time.

    They're like pre-Classics.

That's one heck of a childhood bundle to have had back then.

Are the little figurines by the Joes in the 1st pic from the Transformers train set?

Well, as I said a lot of that was stuff I got from a neighbor about 15 years ago so I never really went through it all or played with it for years as a kid. I knew there were some key pieces I wanted but not all the details.

I can't wait until I dig out the boxes with most my actual toys as a kid...puts that haul to shame but I do wish I had some of that stuff as a kid. Especially the Dinobots (I only had Slag), Metroplex and the cars.

I'm not sure what all those figures are but they aren't recognizable Transformers characters like the few decoys I separated out. Would love to know if someone can identify them.
