Anyone know a trustworthy site I can find this guy for less than $40? Looking for more the $25 or less range. Not wanting to pay the scalpers that disgustingly ridiculous price for him. TFSource, BBTS, Amazon (well Amazon has him for like $40 shipped), KMart, Target, Toys-R-Us, etc. haven't had him in a long while and I live in Podunk, TN so there's nowhere around here to shop for figures. I managed to buy the one Quickslinger apparently when it got back in stock a month ago or so at BBTS for $25.

Well, Toydojo has him for 29.99
The Chosen Prime has a 2 pack of him and his counterpart for 36.99

I got both him and Quickslinger/Slingshot at ToysRUs on their website. Though that was a long time ago, and I was pretty lucky since most people apparently hadn't noticed since both were in-stock at the same time.

I checked The Chosen Prime before I posted and their 2 pack was out of stock. I resorted to taking a stab at EBay and someone who had a 100% rating. Meh. We'll see. He had it posted for $25.99 + $8 shipping and it was described as new and unopened etc. Still cheaper than the $39 option at Amazon. Hopefully it pans out well since I messaged BBTS to ship my 6-mo. PoL too. Hopefully everything gets here round about the same time so I can start fiddling with everything.

It's almost not worth it at this point - easier to sell the Hasbro figs and buy the Takara sets.

Not really, since the Tak sets are still going for $150+ and just aren't worth it imo. That's just ridiculous for a voyager and 4 deluxes. I know there are a lot of collectors who are more than happy to pay exorbitant prices for figures even when there are others for much less, but I'm just not one of those. It's like that TFCC-only CW set that was released. As much as I wanted to collect every figure from CW I won't pay $75 each for deluxes, when I can more easily buy 4 or 5 other deluxes for the same price. It's about price priorities.

Hey thor, I'm assuming you bought the one I had on ebay for $25. (videriant). If you want, PM me and I'll sell it to you directly for $3 less (i.e the ebay fee).

well, over at HLJ, they have menasor for $100.. buying 4 deluxes and a voyager in the US is about $93.. so, it's not all that much more expensive.

Sure, but let's just say you find your voyager and three deluxe figures at retail, and then find the exclusive for the already-ridiculous price of $40 that they seem to go for at a lot of places right now. You've paid $110, plus shipping for the exclusive and tax for the retail purchases, plus time spent going to the store (and fuel!) and hunting them down, and now that asking price of $135 at BBTS really isn't that much more than what you're considering paying.

I mean, I get having "price priorities," but unless you're just ignoring all of those other ancillary costs, basically deciding that your time isn't worth anything, then you've probably already spent far more than the Takara set would have cost you.

I PM'd you, Vid. Not entirely sure how to go about anything (I'm kind of an EBay noob and have only purchased from there a handful of times). Appreciate the thought even if we can't figure it out together, lol.
